Just returned from one of the best weekends ever!

We’ve just returned from the most wonderful weekend stay in Wales with my two children (ages 3 and 7) and I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a peaceful, magical retreat—completely surrounded by nature, yet still incredibly family-friendly and well-equipped.

The outdoor space is stunning. Rolling green hills, fresh air, farm animals and just the right balance between wilderness and comfort. The kids had endless room to run around safely, explore little woodland paths, and play freely while we could relax without worry. There was a great mix of activities to keep them entertained—open space, a little stream to splash in, magical woods to explore and a fire pit area that became the highlight of our evenings.

What really made the experience stand out was the sense of welcome and care from the hosts. We followed one of their suggestions for a nearby family walk and were rewarded with incredible views and a sense of adventure the kids won’t forget.

This was exactly the kind of weekend we’d hoped for: screen-free, soul-soothing, and full of simple joys. Whether you’re after fresh air, quality family time, or just a break from the noise of daily life, this place delivers.

We’ll definitely be back—next time for longer!

Spent a wonderful day at Greenhaven…

Spent a wonderful day at Greenhaven Retreat with friends and family for a barbecue, and it was absolutely amazing! The place is spacious, peaceful, and perfect for kids — they had all the room in the world to run around and just be themselves. It’s such a relaxing spot to unwind, enjoy good company, and soak in nature. Definitely a great place for family gatherings or a laid-back weekend escape! 🌿
