Green Motion Edinburgh Airport provides car hire for travellers using Edinburgh Airport (EDI), with the desk based within the Secure Airparks site at 100 Ingliston Rd, Ingliston, Edinburgh EH28 8AU. From arrivals, head to the coach park near the multi-storey car park, opposite the Tram Station, following signs to the Tram Station and then the covered walkway. Wait at stand 10 and tell the driver you are a Green Motion customer; a complimentary shuttle runs to Bus Stop 2 at Secure Airparks Car Park, where the Green Motion desk is located. Desk opening hours (local time): every day 07:00–22:00, including public holidays.

Friendly and good customer service
Friendly and good customer service. Vehicle was very good and economical. However the location of the office at Edinburgh Airport is hard to find at Secure Parks, and it would be helpful if it was located in the main car rental centre, nearer the hotels.

Green motion has become my favourite…
Green motion has become my favourite car rental: their delivery and return process is quick and smooth, staff are friendly and sociable, the rental prices are very reasonable, often you are given an upgrade at no extra charge ( on more than one occasion I was given an automatic instead of a manual car and a bigger car than I had booked) ; the location is actually in one of the airport car parks which means a few minutes on the shuttle.

Predatory pricing. Don’t rent.
Like so many of the other reviews Green Motion has received, this is a bad review.
I'd advise you not to rent. This company has predatory pricing based around collision damage waver insurance. Even though I had such insurance, carried through my credit card company, I didn't have the "correct" paperwork to "prove" it, and had to pay an additional significant amount of money if I wanted to rent the car that day. I've rented dozens of cars over the years, and have not had this experience.
Update. Following my posting of this poor review, Green Motion left a reply (below) asking me to contact them. I have already done that, although it took some effort, but despite showing them the details of the CDW insurance I had in place at the time of the rental, unsurprisingly Green Motion has denied a refund of the additional and unnecessary CDW insurance I was required to purchase from Green Motion if I wanted to rent the car.
Even the request to contact them to resolve this is a sham as i already have and it has led nowhere. I still had to pay a significant amount of money for unnecessary insurance and Green Motion continues to deny a refund despite having the paperwork showing the necessary insurance was already in place.

I would give no stars
I would give no stars. Similar issue to others, you need to read every term and condition as they will refuse to release a hire car if you fail to comply. And although they don’t remind you that you need physical cards, you need one (credit card!!) or they hold on to the car and your cash. Do not use, pay a little more to use a competitor! Their complaint team took over 3 weeks to replay and it was only when I copied their CEO into the email that I got a response.
