Book online at greenmotion.com to see live prices, choose your vehicle and extras, and collect from the branch of your choice. Our fleet includes small city cars, family SUVs, people carriers and commercial vans, with lower-emission and electric models at many locations.
Before you travel
- Payment card: you'll need a credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit. Accepted cards and deposit amounts vary by country and are shown before you book.
- Documents: bring your full driving licence and a valid ID. Some countries also need an International Driving Permit.
- Booked through a travel site? Check your voucher for what's included.

Extra 40E charge...Why?
Finding your location and getting to it in pouring rain was a bit harrowing. When I did, the representative was great in locating and providing a vehicle in your inventaory that had in-dash Navigation. I do not use Apply or Android on a mobile phone to navigate. Return of the vehicle was a bit more difficult even though I did input your location, but I did get there.
As it was a 4:15a.m. drop off, no agent was there, and I was charged 40E for the time of day drop-off. That was off-putting, and I see it as a way to pull more $$ from a clients pocket, when there doesn't seem to be any reason for it other than gouging.

We also hear how difficult the office was to find in heavy rain and your concern about the €40 early return charge. Svært at finde og opkrævning af flere ekstra fees
For det første så var der ingen skiltning i Tallinn lufthavn der viste hvor man skulle finde Green Motion kontoret. Jeg forsøgte at ringe til dem, men der blev ikke svaret. Til sidst fik jeg fundet adressen på Google maps, og fandt dem. Da jeg brokkede mig over hvor svært det var at finde dem, så henviser de til at de havde sendt en mail dagen før med beskrivelse, som jeg først fandt efter. De havde nemlig sendt mange mails, hvor at den sidste indeholdt hvad jeg troede var beskrivelsen på hvordan man kom hen til dem..men nej nej, den var sendt tidligere. Men druknede i informations mails.
Herudover blev vi opkrævet 50 EUR for at skulle aflevere bilen i Riga. Selvom bookingen allerede var prissat efter det, og det ikke havde stået tydeligt noget sted at der ville komme denne ekstra udgift. Herudover så blev man fortalt at man skal aflevere bilen rengjort, støvsuget mv, ellers skal man købe sig fri af det med 20 EUR. Det har jeg heller aldrig oplevet før eller noget der fremgik tydeligt i booking processen. Da vi så fik bilen var den møjbeskidt uden på, og der var i hvert fald ikke støvsuget ved førersædet. Totalt optrækkeri..anvender dem aldrig igen.
