Affidarsi alle cure del Prof. Asti significa incontrare non solo un professionista di altissimo livello e dalla straordinaria competenza clinica ,ma anche una persona dotata di rara empatia ,umanità e sensibilità.
Un ringraziamento speciale va anche a tutto il personale infermieristico e assistenziale del reparto ,che si è distinto per la gentilezza , la prontezza e la cura durante la mia degenza.

From the very beginning, Ms. Enkeleda Prendi, Patient Care Manager, was my main point of contact and provided invaluable support. She helped me make an informed decision when choosing my treating physician, Professor Della Bella, by providing all the necessary information in a clear, balanced, and professional manner. Importantly, she never pressured or influenced my decision; instead, she ensured I had all the facts needed to choose the best option for my care.
Following my online consultation with Professor Della Bella, I felt confident in my decision. He was exceptional in explaining the procedure in detail, answering all my questions with patience and expertise, and giving me complete confidence in the treatment plan.
Enkeleda's support extended far beyond coordination. She welcomed me upon my arrival, assisted with all arrangements from the airport to the hospital and back, and remained available throughout my hospitalization. Her calm demeanor, attentive listening, and genuine commitment to addressing my concerns made a significant difference during what could have been a stressful experience. She consistently went above and beyond her role to ensure I felt supported and cared for.

After a recent burt of my SICD (defibrillator), I was in urgent search for a cardiac workup, since two previous ablations (done in my home country, Germany) had obviously failed. Among other addresses, I reached out to the GSD in Milano and received immediate email responce from Prof Della Bella, a renowned specialist there. In a video call with him in person (had to be prepayed 350 €), we discussed the outlines of what should come next (30 minutes). Prof Della Bella was very kind and deeply interested. The opportunity to contact and communicate in a most direct way helped such a great deal in making the treatment decision, for which I got a very timely appointment. I immediately felt I had found the right place . The whole stay (one week) needed to be prepaid because my health insurance did not carry any direct reimbursement plan with the GSD.
I was blown away by the friendliness and competence of the whole team, doctors, nurses, and staff, including Prof Della Bella and Dr. Biscaglio who carried out the procedure together and came to visits me daily post-procedure, in my single person ward room (equipped with everything needed, including AC and Wifi). Special mention Mrs Prendi who functioned as a communications post and offered sustained help, taking care for swift transportation from and to the close by Linate airport, keeping in touch with everyone else and helping with the necessary paperwork.
The treatment including post-procedure checks felt super professional and complete. I can therefore fully and whole heartedly recommend the facility and staff to anyone in need for treatment especially if they have a complicated condition like multifocal disease with complicated morphology leading to cardiac arrythmias. I remain deeply grateful after such a positive experience

The care I received there was world-class. At every level, I felt that the focus of the hospital was on patient care. Charyzel was brilliant in organising admin matters, Dr Alvise Saracco is an exceptional ortho surgeon, Dr Lorenzo Cianfanelli is the best cardiologist I have met. Matteo and Francesco in physio are enthusiastic (important when you don't feel like doing exercises after surgery). Radiographers (Teresa), nurses, and the support staff who make the hospital function were all kind and considerate. (Apologies for not listing all by name). I am grateful to them.

Excellent service and support over the years.
We first contacted GSD International in 2015 regarding eye diagnostics in Italy. They helped us find the right clinic and specialist, arranged all appointments, and supported us throughout the entire process. Everything was very well organized, and the experience was excellent.
Since then, we have contacted GSD several times over the years, and the service has always been consistently professional and reliable.
Most recently, they helped us find a clinic for my husband’s joint replacement. We were referred to Istituto Clinico San Rocco and an excellent doctor, Giulio Lasagna.
We would especially like to highlight Olga Gribova for her professionalism, responsibility, and genuine care. She is truly a specialist in her field.
Highly recommended!

The doctor is truly outstanding — highly knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to take the time to explain everything clearly. We feel completely confident in his care.
The Patient Care Assistant has also been amazing. She is incredibly attentive, caring, and always responsive to our needs and requests. Her support has made a big difference in our experience.

Ho visitato tutti gli ospedali d'Europa, ma non ho avuto successo. L'Ospedale San Raffaele è il migliore d'Europa. Lo dico con convinzione. Il personale è meraviglioso. I medici sono fantastici e hanno molta esperienza. Sono molto soddisfatto

Today's follow-up appointment after successful ASC scoliosis surgery (with Dr. Pedro Berjano a year ago) was a very positive experience. The support throughout the stay and the paperwork, assisted by Enkeleda Prendi, was helpful and reduced stress. I highly recommend it!

We recently visited the Galeazzi Sant`Ambrogio Hospital for pre-operative appointments in preperation for our daughters surgery at GSpine4 and were very impressed with the level of care we received. From the moment we arrived at the hospital and met with our patient care manager, Enkeleda, we were made to feel welcomed and at ease. She went above & beyond - she escorted us around the hospital to all the different appointments, translated where necessary, and even took the time to show us the different places we could eat and explained the different foods available. We were looked after the entire day with so much kindness and attention, making us feel comfortable and supported at every step. What could have been a stressful experience turned into a very reassuring one thanks to her patience and care. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend to anyone.

I am an onco patient since 2023 and I am using the international service since then. I am extremely happy with the support and care that the team is providing - they always find a solution and help with numerous burocratica and administrative steps. I combine SSN, private insurance and direct paying depending on the situation and this is super helpful when you have such flexibility. They often go beyond and care to ask how I am and if I need something. Thank you for having such a service to support the patients.

L'ospedale San Raffaele è una macchina mangiasoldi. Devo dire che l'unica persona umana e competente che ho trovato li dentro è il cardiologo Alfieri. Devo dire inoltre che il Dottor Alberto Margonato è stato umanamente una persona squallida e indispondente. Se avete problemi seri fate li gli esami ma andate da altre parti a farvi curare a meno che non abbiate raccomandazioni li dentro. Vi consiglio l'ospedale di Brescia o Pisa a Cisanello. È brutto da dire ma questo ospedale è una macchina mangiasoldi. Sei curato dagli studenti che fanno pratica che non sanno niente. Se chiedete a ChatGPT ne sa piu lui. Mi sono trovato di fronte in cardiologia ed ematologia degli incapaci. Mai piu in quell'ospedale.
Ribadisco: siete dei mangiasoldi e basta. Curate le persone con gli studenti. Vergognatevi. Cisanello a Pisa oppure ospedale civile di Brescia 10000 volte meglio di voi. Al Professor Alberto Margonato mandatelo a raccogliere le patate e fategli fare un bagno di umiltà che forse ne ha bisogno. Mi sembrava gia un incapace all'inizio senza conoscerlo, poi quando l'ho incontrato di persona ho avuto la conferma. PS: Io non parlo privatamente ma parlo qui cosi tutti possono leggere che razza di gente esiste al San Raffaele e che razza di struttura siete. Certo fate ricerca ed è lodevole, ma siete una macchina mangiasoldi. Non siete come gli altri ospedali, per quello dico a tutti: fate gli esami al San raffaele perche siete all'avanguardia ma poi per operarvi o altro scappate da li o comunque valutate molto bene le cose. Vi rode leggere quello che ho scritto perche è vero. Non c'entra niente la percezione, voi quando un malato ha ormai un piede nella fosse ( a parte che lo fate seguire dagli studenti che non capiscono nulla ). Lo dico sinceramente perche venivano li a dire cavolate. Ma a persone in gravi condizioni dovete essere trasparenti e coerenti con quello che dite e fate. Questo non è successo. Siete dei mangiasoldi e basta. Gli sto facendo una bella pubblicità ad Alberto Margonato. Sconsiglio Alberto Margonato, non sa fare il suo lavoro, maleducato e insolente. Pensa di essere intelligente invece non è nessuno. Il mondo sarebbe migliore senza di lui.

Enkeleda Prendi is amazing! She is very professional, respectful and kind. I have met her on 3 occasions and each time she was always waiting for me in the lobby and prepared to assist me through every aspect of my check-in. Signora Prendi is personable and excellent in her role as a patient care manager. She made me feel as though I was meeting a friend each time I saw her. I would not hesitate to refer my friends to Gruppo San Donata, as I know they would be treated with utmost consideration and care.

28 maja 2025 po raz pierwszy spotkaliśmy w szpitalu San Raffaele Milenę Maślanka i Ruslana Chechelev, którzy od samego początku i w 110% zadbali o nasz pobyt, zaopiekowali się nami tak, jakbyśmy znali się już od dawna. Zrobili WSZYSTKO, abyśmy czuli się komfortowo na każdym kroku, podczas każdej wizyty naszego syna u wszystkich lekarzy. Ruslan i Milena to CUDOWNE osoby, WSPANIALI ludzie pełni ciepła i empatii. TROSKLIWOŚĆ to ich drugie imię! Cały dzień myślą, żeby pomóc i wspomóc, a przy tym cały czas są uśmiechnięci, pogodni i spokojni w tym co robią i jak robią. Przebywanie w towarzystwie Mileny i Ruslana pomaga zapomnieć o własnych problemach. PROFESJONALIZM we wszystkim co robią!!! Ruslan i Milena DZIĘKUJEMY WAM, że jesteście i będziecie z nami i dla nas:):):)

This hospital and program was absolutely amazing. I’ve recommended it to several of my friend in the United States. The team was wonderful in communication and the whole process is so efficient. I will definitely be doing this again. I was able to see 13 doctors in 4 hours and do months worth of doctors visits in less than a day.
