1 Star – Very disappointing customer service and account security

I have been a customer of HalalBooking for two years, but unfortunately my recent experience has completely damaged my trust in the company.

I discovered two unauthorized bookings made through my account for hotels in Indonesia, a country I have never visited. These bookings used approximately $92 worth of my accumulated Cash Points without my knowledge or authorization.

After contacting customer support and providing evidence, I received a generic response stating that there had been "no security breach on their side" and that the Cash Points could not be restored because they had already been used.

What is disappointing is not only the loss of the points, but the complete lack of investigation details. No information was provided regarding the IP addresses, devices, locations, or security checks related to these suspicious transactions.

This is not the first issue I have experienced with HalalBooking. On previous bookings, I noticed changes in prices and charges that customer service simply attributed to "the system" without offering any practical solution.

A company should stand behind its customers when unauthorized activity occurs, especially when loyalty points with real monetary value are involved. Instead, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that no genuine effort was made to resolve the issue.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend HalalBooking and would advise customers to carefully monitor their accounts and loyalty points.
