End to end service from start to finish was incredible, can not recommend enough.

This isn't just buying a pair of shoes! For a start the product is outstanding in terms of both comfort, quality and finish. The design process - in which you literally have a blank canvas with your chosen style - is limitless and fun. But its the whole experience that make more than just buying a pair of shoes! Having previously had boots made by the Hand-dyed Shoe Company, I recently took the opportunity to purchase a pair from their stock. These were made to the same excellent standards, were very comfortable and looked great. As always, Simon – the founder – provided excellent service and I am very happy with all three pairs.

Over recent years I had tended to buy my shoes from Church's; however, with the Hand-dyed Shoe Company I can design my own shoes, selecting from a wide range of styles, leather patterns and colours. Excellent service and experience from start to finish. It was booked as a surprise for my 30th birthday. The workshop is set in a lovely old building and was easy to find after following the instructions. Once inside you have an interesting lesson in the different styles and features alongside a custom fitting followed by the design process itself. I found being able to touch and handle the different styles and materials very helpful. The guys have created a brilliant package and after realising I wanted more than one pair I opted for the deal that gives you a pair of boots, shoes and trainers plus the trees for them too! Everything was explained properly and the time lines etc to manage my expectations. The shoes arrived well within the time frame given and they are unreal. The fit is better than anything I have ever had before and the quality and finish far surpassed what I could have imagined. I will get so much wear out of them and the fact I can send them to be repaired and refreshed should I need is a great comfort. We loved the experience so much that I am going to treat my partner in the new year to the newly released ladies range. Thank you for a great experience and service!

The whole process from start to finish was excellent and was made to feel a valued customer. From receiving the gift box with great little touches to visiting the studio for the shoe fitting to then receiving the shoes exactly when we were told (and in the middle of a lockdown!). The knowledge and enthusiasm that Simon had for his craft was evident to see and the whole process was a wonderful personalised experience that you just don’t get elsewhere. Plus the quality and uniqueness of the shoes was fabulous. Definitely recommend!

My Shoes arrived last week and i have been wearing round the house to check them out. Apart from looking great they feel very comfortable. Which should be no suppose given the time taken to get all the measurement just right. Including high insteps and long bridge. (They know what i mean.)

A big thank you to the Hand Dyed Shoe Company for finally giving me a pair of shoes that i can be sure fit correctly. We just need a non covid event to show them off.
