Hanwag Bergell, die Schuhe sind steif,wie Holzschuhe, man kann damit garnicht abrollen.
Dann gibt es das Problem, es gibt
bei Hanwag die selbe Modellbezeichnung Hanwag Bergell
für zwei unterschiedliche Schuhe,
das "alte Modell"(8 Paar Schnürösen und Haken) sieht gut aus und ist "gefragt" hat die Zehen noch frei, das 2.Modell hat eine Schnürung(10 Paar Ösen/Haken) bis zu den
Zehenspitzen und ist höher
geschnürt!
Das dickste Ding war aber, ich kaufte das alte Modell Online und in der Verpackung vom alten Modell
( 1.Modell) war das 2.Modell drin.
Was für eine Enttäuschung!!! Das häßliche 2.Modell will ja keiner und so versuchen Sie es scheinbar
Loszuwerden.
Das 2.Modell anprobiert ,man läuft darin wie in Holzschuhen und dafür über 400 Euro.
Sehr enttäuscht,besonders auch wegen der Kartonsache!!!

Wer die Schuhe trotzdem kaufen will,
die Größen fallen sehr groß aus,wer
Größe 43 hat, sollte besser Größe 42
kaufen.

Ik heb december 2024 wandelschoenen gekocht van het merk Hanwag. Deze heb ik amper gedragen in de maanden jan-feb-mrt 2025( dat is ook te zien aan het profiel aan de onderkant want daaraan is nauwelijks te zien dat ze gebruikt zijn ). Afgelopen november heb ik ze maar weer eens aangedaan want het regende. Wat bleek, beide schoenen na twee keer dragen in die week, zo lek als een zeef. Garantie van 2 jaar dus terug met bon naar de winkel. Medewerkster vond ook dat dit niet zou mogen dus schoenen werden opgestuurd naar Hanwag. Nu ongeveer 6 wk later wordt mij door de winkel verteld dat Hanwag de schuld bij mij legt. Dit valt niet onder de garantie !!! Het zou aan mijn nagels kunnen liggen of door het gebruik ervan, gravel of ander object in mijn schoen.
BELACHELIJK voor schoenen van € 265,95 !
Er is nu een lapje voorin gestikt, vertelde de medewerker en de kosten €30,- werden uit coulance door de winkel betaald.

Bought pair Bunion alta boots women's lasted only 2 years leaking. Paid more as these could be resoled. Waste of money in my option.

I purchased a pair of Hanwag Alta Bunion II GTX LDS in September 2024 and they were absolutely fantastic for nearly one year when one of them developed a leak.

As they had a 2-year warranty and I bought them from Gaynors in Ambleside I thought it would be a simple matter of a quick replacement. However, Gaynors had to send them back to Hanwag to test. Gaynors did say the sole had wear but not excessive.

I was dismayed that they had to go back to Hanwag. It's been four weeks without any sign of a decision which I find incredible.

Gaynors made several attempts at getting Hanwag to respond but were ignored.

Gaynor Sports eventually gave me a refund after a month and said they'd pursue the reimbursement with Hanwags but felt it wasn't right that I had waited so long.

I bought these boots because a cheaper pair leaked. So I though £245 should secure me a decent pair but either I haven't paid enough or Hanwag just aren't worth the price.

Ich habe mir die Tatra II GTX gekauft. Es war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Der Schuh sitzt perfekt. Nach den ersten 6 Kilometern weiß man, wie fest die Schnürsenkel an welcher Stelle gezogen werden müssen. Danach ist es ein Selbstläufer. Die Schuhe bieten guten Halt und tun hier in Schweden auch auf rutschigen Steinen ihren sicheren Dienst. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen. Aber das Material macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Von mir auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Weiter so.👍🏻😎

Sols fell of during hike.
Boots less than 10 years old. Minimal milage.
Haglöffs boots twice as old no problem.
Refurbishment 120euro.....

That's just not ok for a supposedly premium brand...

Ps they proudly write that they have refurbished a lot of boots. However they forget to tell that it's due to poor quality on their part...

Bought via a dealer listed on the Hanwag.de website. But they didn't deliver, had a bad reputation, and after many phone calls and mails, they finally sent the Hanwag Tashi Yak leather double-stiched Zwiegenähter shoes.
The size was smaller (less wide) than similar brands.
There were many places where the inside of the shoe had sharp edges, especially where the leather was stitched together. These caused painful spots on the foot. I solved this by sticking thin leather patches over them. Eventually, after a few months of ownership—and considering you don’t wear this type of shoe every day—a hole formed on the inside of the toe box of one shoe, as big as a euro coin, with very sharp edges around it. I cannot return to the seller because I’m afraid of losing these shoes (450 euros). Hanwag itself is unwilling to offer any goodwill solution. It’s completely non-negotiable. In short, NEVER BUY HANWAG SHOES!"

Efter nogen anmeldelser af de Hanwag Lhasa wide som jeg har haft et godt øje til i noget tid tilsyneladende ikke fik så gode anmeldelser her på trustpilot, men blev rost i skyerne af både familie og Facebook gruppen "Os der vandre" satte jeg mig for at finde ud af om der var noget om det, så jeg ringede og fik en rigtig god snak med Anders ved GrejFreak.dk (ikke helt sikker på hans navn) om skoene og det er med hvor "ærligt" Trustpilot faktisk er, for det er jo som oftest kun dem der er utilfredse der skriver en anmeldelse.
Men her skiller min sig så ud, for jeg fik en kanon god snak, omkring Hanwags sko, som forøvrigt er fantastiske, de sidder perfekt, ikke noget med at gå dem til eller noget.
Altså det er lige før det er ren elskov mellem sko og fødder..
HANWAG Lhasa wide er de bedste vandresko jeg nogensinde har haft, og jeg har "problem fødder" og altid haft svært ved at finde sko der ikke gav vabler, men det gør disse ikke..

I bought a pair of Hanwag shoes from…
I bought a pair of Hanwag shoes from Bever Sport in The Mall of the Netherlands in Leidschendm for €194, being told that they were very hard wearing and that they would last a long time. Well, just two and a half years later these expensive shoes which still have a good sole with a good grip have come apart from the sides. I only use these shoes for normal travelling and walking and do not do any strenuous hiking in them.
When I contacted Bever they said they could not help me and that I should contact Hanwag.
I contacted Haanwag and I have no useful reply from them yet. I would really advise you to be careful before buying any such expensive Hanwag footwear. I have many other shoes from other brands which have lasted better much longer and after more extensive and hard use. Hanwag your product is very disappointing.

I had a pair of Hanwag boots in 2002 and they lasted 20 years with a couple of new soles. Completely watertight. I then bought a pair of Banks GTX and Robin GTX in the last year. Both of them leaked in a couple of months. Really bad drop in quality. Goodby €350. A>nd Hanwag sends you back to the retailer (who is online) when you want to complain. VERY disappointing

Nach 10 Wanderungen verabschieden sich die Sohlen! Mitten auf einem Bergsteig verlieet meine Frau zuerst sie rechte danach die linke Sohle! Für teure Bergschuhe eher kritisch und gefährlich!

I bought a pair of Hanwag Lady Bunion II walking boots two years ago, and returned them to the shop I bought them from within a few months as they leaked like a sieve! After a month or so of "testing for watertightness" Hanwag eventually admitted they weren't watertight and sent me a new pair. which were just as bad, so I returned them again. Despite only wearing them for 8 months or so, Hanwag have now come back to me to say the replacement pair are leaking because the heels are worn, depite the fact that the boots are leaking where the sole meets the upper and on the side seams. I now have a pair of £50 Peter Storm boots which don't leak and were over £150 cheaper than Hanwag. Unless you want to throw money away, don't buy anything from this company. The product is inferior and customer service is poor.

Hanwag Tatra gtx cadeau gekregen op mijn verjaardag. 2 jaar geleden. De Hanwag’s jaarlijks ong 12 keer gebruikt voor een wandeling. . . Zolen nauwelijks versleten. MAAR,….Een zool laat los! En, de veterlipjes zijn van zeer slechte kwaliteit! Sommige zijn van zacht materiaal en verbuigen als je de veter aantrekt. Schoen met teveel gebreken. Naar Bever Arnhem geweest. Bever wilde helemaal niets doen!
Volgens Hanwag zelf moet je ong. na zes/ jaar de zool eens laten controleren op o.a. hydrolyse en slijtage. Bizar dus dat de zool al na 2 jaar helemaal loslaat en de Bever medewerker denkt dat het hydrolyse is( na 2 jaar!) ondanks normaal gebruik van de schoen
Tja Hanwag en Bever. Schoenen verkopen van plus 300 euro en dan een maandagochtend product leveren en je handen er van af houden, geen verantwoording nemen en klantonvriendelijk. das niet correct en de juiste manier van zaken doen. Nooit meer bergschoenen van HANWAG en NOOIT meer BEVER. En ik! Ik blijf zitten met onbruikbare HanWAGs van +300. Kom op HANWAG. In 90 sec kunnen jullie het euvel repareren volgens jullie eigen video.

I purchased my first pair of walking boots from Hanwag 20 Years ago and they are still going strong! I have since purchased lighter boots and more recently some hiking shoes. They have all been comfortable from day one and they last for years. My light weight boots have actually been through the washing machine twice without any issues. I would definitely recommend.

Premium price for rock bottom quality! Mine have fallen apart with minimal use whilst my much much older £35 Karrimor boots are still going strong!

Hanwag customer service say they are focussed on longevity yet I now have a pair of boots (costing over £200), that have had minimal use and now need a new sole as it has started to come away from the boot.

Hanwag customer service also advise their boots are exposed to hydrolysis caused by natural ageing of the sole. Again mine have had minimal use with barely any wear on the sole. Surprisingly my very old £35 Karrimors don’t appear to have heard of “hydrolysis”!

So there you go, based on my personal experience Hanwag simply churn out rubbish with lots of glossy marketing telling you about their proud history and focus on quality and longevity. In short, if I’d wanted a pair of boots to put on a shelf and just look at I’m sure they would have been perfect! However, in terms of actually using them for any hiking I may as well have chucked my money in the bin………or bought x7 pairs of Karrimor boots!!!

Die Schuhe sind super.
Der Rücksendeprozess leider eine Katastrophe. Hat mich eine Stunde Arbeit, 7€ für Porto und eine Menge Nerven gekostet.
Bei der Kundenhotline erreicht man eine schwedische Bandansage.

I am disappointed in the Hanwag brand
It can't be that my new shoes of €269 are broken within 10 weeks, that they have been in repair for 11 weeks
and no one can tell me when I will get them back. Didn't get an answer even after contacting them by phone.

I now think that Hanwag makes a bad shoe (broken quickly) and a lot of repairs due to the bad shoe
so that you have to wait more than 2 months until they are "maybe" repaired (pressure due to bad shoe)

I'd rather have my money back now. Otherwise, I want to know when I'll get my shoes back.

I want now either my money back or the shoes. Soon they will be in repair longer than I have had them.

Purchased a pair of Traper top gtx , but after I wear them 5 times the sole start coming apart ...this is not normal wear and tear. Very disappointed with costumer service and limited shops that can service this boots, also Hangwag does not stand behind their product past a year. So test your boot hard the first year if it is past a year start looking for a different boot when comes to warranty . I don't recommend this boot considering the cost.

Purchased 2 pairs of boots, within a year of each other. The first pair has the soles falling off, with a few minor issues. HANWAG is horrible for customer service, there is no shops in Canada that offer warranty work, or services for repair. HANWAG customer service does not respond at all, nor do they respond to the stores and shops that I purchased them from. 1st and last time ill be buying them, save your money and keep it in North America as the options for repair are far greater.

Soles started delaminating from boots. I only spent 8 days in them in the past two years. Contacted Hanwag and they wouldn’t help at all since the boots were two years old and outside the one year warranty period. I expected better from Hanwag. Nothing like having to pay out of pocket to repair you near new $500 boots. Awful customer service.
