Exceptional Service from Eleanor in Knocknacarra, Galway
I had a brilliant experience at the Harvey Norman in the Gateway Shopping Centre, Knocknacarra today. I went in without a clue of what I actually needed for my bad back and hip pain, but I was lucky enough to be helped by Eleanor in the bedding department.
Eleanor was incredibly patient and took her time walking me through all the different options. Her advice was professional, honest, and she really knew her stuff. To top it off, she helped me get an amazing discount on a full Superking Penthouse Suite set, including delivery and removal of my old bed. If you’re looking for a new bed, ask for Eleanor—she is a credit to the team!

Poor service. Not worth buying and paying in advance.
I bought via Click-and-Collect for faster checkout, and after I handed in my code I was asked to stand around waiting while they were discussing and serving other customers.
If I pay advance, I expect to collect my stuff and get out, avoiding queues, but exactly the opposite happened. The shop assistant didn't want to go to the back room multiple times so he asked me to stand around waiting while he was looking at the cashier serving another customer while they had not yet decided what to get.
Call me old-fashioned, but if I give them my money in advance online, don't bother asking any questions, just get on with buying, I really expect to be served first that they would go back to look after other customers once I've received my goods and are out. I did not ask to jump the queue or anything like that, but the young kid's attitude was just appalling, customers can wait while he finishes his thing ....
It's happened to me in store before, once you complete your purchase they have your money, they actually move on to serve other customers and tell you to wait, because you're hardly gonna leave without your money or your product and without a receipt. And yeah, it's a business product I bought, I did not get a receipt, and when I went back into the store to ask, he said I can print the receipt myself. (I don't have a printer)
They're clearly trained to do this, he asked me to sign for the product while keeping the bag out of reach from me, so I had to tell him I won't sign for having received the product unless he shows me that the correct, ordered product/version is in the bag. What a demonstration of mistrust. Just avoid, avoid, avoid.

Activation codes on Microsoft Office…
Activation codes on Microsoft Office and McAfee not legible. I have tried to get a response from Galway office but have failed so far.
This issue has now been resolved.

I found the online service very quick and effective. I would recommend reading your emails as I missed the superb click and collect option to have your items delivered to your car in the car park.
