These guys are absolute scumbag scammers!! The b*stards will take your money if you don’t drive for 3 days because thy suspect you are driving without a black box, so they cancel insurance after you have paid 3 grand and, and only have £50 back because 5 months into an insurance year we didn’t drive, these guys do NOT have your back as a young driver they just want to steal your money

I received no paperwork to refer to. Whilst happy with an online account, I want the contract paperwork in my file to refer to.(if you don't get it you are a fool, believe me)
When I told them I had a better deal, the hard sell was relentless.
Darlings, this type of selling technic went out 20 years ago for a reason!!😅😅😅

Rang for some help today to do with my cover got no help what so ever spent 40 mins on phone for nothing and lady was very rude and inconsiderate

Do Not Take Out Insurance with Hastings Insurance!
When you think you are covered by insurance but you are not - at least with Hastings.
I have Premier Insurance for House and Contents with Accidental Damage, Legal Expenses and Home Emergency. In effect, full insurance cover with premier customer service.
I have a leaking radiator. I contacted the Home Emergency Cover _ only possible via App! and completed a questtionaire. I had isolated the leak - turned out the boiler and thermostatic values and placed a bowl below the leak. Apparently, because the issue was confined, the home emergency app response was that it was not covered. I rang customer service and spoke to a customer service representative, who immediately said it was covered and said she would talk to the home emergency peole - whilst I was holding on the phone. She came back to tell me it wasn't covered. I therefore put in a complaint. 2 days later I received a voicemail message asking me to call back - I was left on the phone for around 10 minutes and despite receiving automated message saying me call was urgent, I didn't get through. I subsequently received a call with a clear answer, page 103 of the terms and conditions, which you are apparently expected to read - in an emergency - and apparently state that when the issue is contained it is not covered by the home emergency insurance. I will be leaving Hastings and will never use them again and suggest everyone else does the same!
