My order was put on hold and no one informed me - when I tried to contact customer service I didn't get a response for weeks. They ended up not being able to hem my jeans because there were studs on the side. Very disappointing, never again.

The alternations shop I used to go to was fantastic, but their hours were very inconvenient for me. Hemster may be a little more expensive than where I used to go to, but the convenience is worth it.

I had an unusual request...an expensive rainproof jacket whose sleeves I wanted slimmed. Hemster did a great job, and the jacket looks great. Price was a bit higher than expected, but it was worth it.

Didnt taper pants appropriately. Overall, really bad tailoring.

I really enjoyed my fit consultation. It was nice to hear some encouragement about the fit of my clothes.

I know it's hard, but I would love tapering services. I have a large waist but like my pants narrow in the hip and calf which is hard to find. If I could get a consistent taper, I could send all my pants in through hemster and they would look the same!

When the tailor re-attached the bottom of my hem to both pairs of jeans, they used too much fabric compared to the pant leg and now the bottom of both pairs look weird (almost like they pancake on the floor). Sadly they look so silly, I just won’t wear them.

The process to get pants hemmed is super easy. Very impressed!

Such an easy process! Quality was spot on, and the entire service was lovely and helpful. I used the service for a bunch of leggings I had in my closet that I never wore because they were too long - I hated having to roll the bottoms up. Really happy I found this service!

Hemster was so easy to use! They met with me virtually, were friendly, and made the process so easy. The turn around time was quick and my leggings fit perfectly!

Had a great experience using hemster for the alterations of my wedding dress. I got matched with Gina who was super prompt, talented, skilled and immediately made me feel like I was in great hands. My dress came back quickly and perfect! The ease and convenience of hemster and their skilled tailors, AND hard to beat price (especially for altering a wedding dress!) I cannot recommend Hemster enough.

The initial appointment was great and the woman I talked to was pleasant. The reason it is two stars is I paid for them to taper the pants I have to keep the leg opening the same. They started the taper from about 8inches up so it is an extremely sharp taper that looks semi ridiculous.

I never ordered from you, and you never responded to my replies to each of your emails, saying you had a bad email address!

Overpriced and unclear pricing. After receiving a 15% discount I still paid $40 for a simple hem in a pair of pants. I wouldn't pay that anywhere else. The $15 zoom consultation is a separate fee and unnecessary for simple jobs, I'd much rather watch a step-by-step youtube video. It's understandable that this may be necessary for more difficult jobs but is overkill for a simple hem. They also charged an additional $2 because there was stretch in the fabric...really??

Leigha is amazing! If you have to get tailored, please ask for Leigha! She can literally do whatever you ask her to do. She’s amazing, very well experienced, and does her job great. I had a bridesmaids dress that didn’t fit me properly and I was very unhappy with it. I told her what I wanted done with the dress; which was to have the dress fit me like an actual mermaids dress, and she did exactly that! Love Hemster!!
