Need for gift vouchers.
I had to press home a request for vouchers and explain each step of how to do this online despite there being no actual gift vouchers. An omission I find rather strange. The young man on sales appeared detached and certainly lacking initiative in sorting the matter out.
I did get a form of voucher printed up by a more senior and pro-active sales person so it ended well.
Not a big deal but not encouraging for further purchases despite recommendations. .

Their organic pale ale
Their organic pale ale - nearest thing to draught bitter in a bottle - was in stock, wonderful as usual and the shop staff very helpful in assisting transfer to the car.
Oh, and the beer its usual delightful “bitter in a bottle” tipple.

Thank you for the great review Tim. Last year we spent time reviewing our process with regards to online orders and offering. It was decided that to make this more viable and sustainable we must review all processes. Part of this review was to move from local to national distribution as well as removing free local delivery. I understand this may be disappointing however, this was for several reasons. The main two being that we needed to maximise our drivers time and that we cannot continue to absorb the rising costs involved. I understand this maybe disappointing and I can ensure you that we really appreciate your local support and custom. Thank you again for your order and support and I wish you an enjoyable rest of the week... Cheers

Prices are high when compared to supermarkets but acceptable when compared to pubs!
