We would like to clarify that the interior of the Dara is crafted with genuine leather. While the shoes may feel a bit stiff at first, the leather is designed to naturally soften and mould to your feet over time for a more comfortable fit.

Regarding the inner seams tearing, please note that this is the very first time we have ever encountered this issue. We take our product quality extremely seriously. We have already sent you an email to gather more details so our team can investigate this right away.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the return shipping fees. To help clarify our policy, we provide one complimentary return per style so you have a full 30 days to try out the sizing and get a feel for the leather and texture of our shoes in person. However, subsequent returns for the Bunny (such as second and third returns) are handled on the customer's end.

Returned items require extra inspection, restocking, and administrative steps to carefully process them back into our warehouse. As a small, newly established business, it is a delicate balance for us to manage these operational costs while keeping our prices fair for everyone.

We are so heartbroken to hear that our largest size (EU 46) ended up feeling too tight even with thinner socks, and we completely understand why you need to process a return.

We have just reached out to you via email regarding your return and feedback. To see if we can help salvage the fit before you send them back, we would love for you to try our complementary Tempur insole —swapping out the standard insole might give you an estimated half-size down within the shoes.

We also completely understand why the fit caught you by surprise; because Birkenstocks feature their own signature footbed and heel mould construction, the fit can feel quite different when moving from sandals/slippers to closed-toe trainers.

Please rest assured that your plea for larger sizes has been heard loud and clear. We are sharing your request directly with our product development team as we look into expanding our size range for men in the future.

To explain a bit behind the scenes: we dispatch orders according to stock availability from all our warehouses, including in the UK and Hong Kong. Once an item is short on stock in our flagship warehouse, orders are fulfilled from our overseas warehouses. We completely understand how concerning unusual tracking routes can look, and we are actively reviewing this with our logistics partners to make the experience much smoother.

Because we use genuine, high-quality leather, the material can feel quite structured right out of the box or at the first few wears. As you wear them, the leather will naturally soften, stretch slightly, and mold to the shape of your feet for a custom fit.

Please give them a little time to adapt to your feet. If the discomfort continues or if you feel the sizing might be slightly off, please let us know—we're always here to help ensure you get the perfect fit!

We truly value your feedback regarding the frustration you experienced with your recent purchase. As this is the first time we have received this concern, we take the matter very seriously. We replied to your message and sent you an email at the earliest opportunity on both 13 July and 14 July, offering a free return and a full refund. We’ll refund you and send your shoes to our Product and Quality Control teams for full inspection once we receive your return.

Meanwhile, knowing that you are currently abroad and the shoes are with you, as mentioned, we extend your return window so that you can return the pair once you are back from abroad.
