The kit didn’t work after installation. It took a week to hear back from customer service, and their troubleshooting suggestions didn’t solve the issue. When I tried to return the product, I was given the runaround. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card to get a refund, paid return shipping out of pocket, and was promised reimbursement—but a month later, that still hasn’t happened. Very frustrating experience.

The new parts that I got were all upgraded. With additional advantages like variable speed, Great voltage more power, and docking station for battery with LED display.

Fast shipping. Simple to install. In my opinion the best add on kit out there. Gives you power when you need it and standard pedaling when you don't. The Sprinter is a great choice for converting cruiser and vintage bikes like ours.

You made our old pedal trike a very nice e-trike for us old folks (77&81year olds).
First off I really enjoyed putting the upgrade on the old trike and we both enjoy talking it out for a ride, if we get tired it will take us home with out any more pedaling.

It was so easy to convert my trike into an E trike!! I love it!!

When I arrive to a steep hill, my hilltopper saves the day by making my climb very comfortable. On flat roads, using my hilltopper make me pass bikes that are much lighter than my bike.

While my bike was incompatible with the Sprinter kit I ordered, Hilltopper has an excellent refund policy. I was refunded for the kit and reimbursed for return shipping, no hassle involved. I can't say that I'm not disappointed that my bike didn't fit the kit, Hilltopper's professionalism with the return means I'd be happy to try again with a new bike.

My wishes were never met! I wanted a second battery to replace my failing one, that way my range is extended plus I will not be stranded. The first person sold me a complete battery/carrier set up but the set up was mismatched. The second person straightened this mistake out but I still have my old battery/carrier set up and it is incompatible with the new carrier/battery. Now several months later I'm tired of working with these guys.

The Hilltopper fits our needs perfectly. Our contacts with costumer service has been great.

We ordered two hilltopper kits. They were packaged very well, arrived quickly and easy to install on our bikes. My husband and I are really enjoying our rides now. We go out for hours. You can get as little or as much exercise as you want. Hills are like butter depending on where you set your peddle assist. When we want that extra blast of speed the thumb throttle is amazing. Great price and definitely worth the cost. Best purchase we ever made.

I’m impressed with the ease of installation, quality of the product and battery life. I bought it for a 10mile commute on my road bike and have even gotten 20miles out of it (when also pedaling part of the time)

I had ordered a battery on 6/26/23. Was stated that it would be shipped that evening. I told them I needed it by July 5th. On July 3, I called and it had not been shipped yet, so therefore I did not receive the battery until I already had left for a bike tour ride. Was not pleased at all.

I’ve been using a Hilltopper on 2 bikes for 4-5 years. Loved the product. This year I bought a battery upgrade.
Installation was less straightforward and getting support was impossible.
There are no instructions and the only help that I could raise on the phone were non-tech people and robots.
