Placed an order on Jan 1st - website displayed a notice saying they would process on Jan 3rd due to holidays.
Received no updates on it by Jan 7th.
Tried live chat - no response.
Tried calling - their listed phone number is invalid.
Checked their VAT and business numbers - valid, but for a completely unrelated company, not Hobby Circuit Ltd.
So, I can only conclude that this is a fake shop, and will be disputing the payment.

Amazing value for money
I had a great experience with Hobby Circuit! Their prices were cheaper than other hobby/non comercial websites, and the lack of a minimum order quantity is perfect for people like me who only need 1 or 2 (not 1000!). One of my items wasn’t in stock however they provided me with a better alternative along with a nice note explaining the situation. The offers they had were also good allowing me to get ESP32s at a good price. The entire process was smooth, and I will definitely be ordering again soon.

I have reviewed both of your orders placed with us, the first on July 25 and the second on July 29. Out of the 80 items you ordered from us, neither of your orders included an Arduino Uno R3. Instead, you ordered an 830-piece Project Starter Kit for Arduino UNO R3, which is an electronic DIY kit with components, including a breadboard with tie-points. This is a kit intended for use with an Arduino Uno R3.
We also never received any customer service requests from you via email or live chat. All items you ordered were shipped to you.
If you’re not happy with your items or order. Please get in contact with us and we will work something out.
