A very useful place to find a tradesperson. Was looking for a plumber and received a response within a few hours of submitting my request. Job was done a couple of days later.

Do not use this site i have unlocked several leads with zero texts messages back zero emails back from most leads they have bots to write up these jobs. It's a total scam

Very easy way to quickly locate local trades people

KMD WAS VERY QUICK TO CONTACT ME, KEITH IS HUNGRY FOR BUSINESS, HE DID A GREAT JOB, ON TIME, CLEAN, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY A GOOD PRICE. HE WAS ALSO HONEST WITH NO EXTRA ADD ON'S. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Joke of a website.

I've only seen client reviews. As a tradesmen using the site it is basically set up to take your money with no guardrails in place to stop you being fleeced.
There were a number of jobs posted on their website in which to reveal the details, which I'm fine with the premise of, they need to earn something for the service they offer.

The problems become evident when you are the sole person to request those details and do not receive any kind of response either through mobile or email contact. Clearly the poster has found someone elsewhere i.e not on the site. However these jobs stay up and the tradesperson has paid 20 euros to gain this information. I had multiple posters do exactly this where i requested details and received no kind of response even to say "thanks but no thanks, we've found someone else".

I then received a bill to pay for leads that were completly useless which amounted to 100 euro for just 5 leads. This is not right. That is a huge expense for a useless service. They will say that those are the terms of services, which is true. But that is essentially stolen money from someone just trying to earn some and is already hard up or just getting started. Otherwise they wouldnt bother with them.

I am happy to pay for a service even if I only get to put in a quote but dont get the job thats down to me. As maybe I didnt make an intresting offer or I was against a competing offer. But to not even get a response when Im the only one who requested their details is taking my limited funds for nothing. There is no incentive for posters to come back to the site and remove their adverts if they have found someone through other means. Leaving tradesman carrying the can. Its also potentially rife for abuse as the companys could put postings and get you to pay for essentially ghost postings to increase their revenue.

I called and expressed my frustration at this format and I was told tough luck, even though I said I was happy to pay as long as a I received at minimum a response, whether it was yes or no from a potential client.

I can't see how this company will survive with the way they are set up now as tradespeople will be put off eventually forking out for nothing. In fact I have no problem in saying I hope they fail as they are essentially taking from tradespeople with no value for money. There is a lot of potential for them to earn well from this but they need to protect the people who ultimately pay for them to survive.

Tradesmen avoid.

They did a very efficient job and were excellent

I came across Homedeal browsing for window replacement. They provided me with a sample of window replacement companies that I got Quotes from. One of these was successful and The job was sorted. I suppose the Concept of sites like Homedeal work well and give confidence to people using the recommended contractors/tradespeople .

Quick reply and everything completed in one week. Brilliant.

It was quick for me to find what I needed, pretty straightforward and effortless.

Was looking for a plastering job, tried a few places on Internet but didn't find a reliable person to do the job, I came across Homedeal just by luck, as soon as I posted the job I got a reply almost immediately, Followed the job from start to finish, would highly recommend Homedeal if you are looking for a reliable Tradesperson 👍

Got 3 quotes very quickly from tradesmen through Homedeal and found this service very good

I went to the Homedeal website to find a painter for my office. I was subsequently contacted by a guy called Sam Tarhuni from a company called Paint Effects Ltd. He quoted me a price of €650 for the job, but insisted that he would only work for cash. I agreed and informed him that I would need a receipt for the work carried out. Sam eagerly agreed. The work was average at best but I paid the cash and Sam said he would email me a receipt that evening. He never did. I contacted him again for the receipt and he said he was out of the country for 10 days, but would send the receipt on his return. This never happened. I contacted him twice more after the initial 10 days and he then blocked my number. I then emailed him for the receipt and he sent me the following message.

I'm out of the country

Now get lost and stick your paper..

Do what you want. Your miserable over €450..

You thinking i care..

I then contacted Petra from Homedeal “customer service”. She completely ignored the disgraceful communication from Sam and initially said she would ask him to send me a receipt. Obviously, he didn’t and when I reached out to Petra again she responded as follows,

Unfortunately, we are not able to interfere more on this matter. All information and payment was handled between Sam Tarhuni and yourself.

I trusted Homedeal to provide me with a reputable contractor, not some fly-by-night cowboys like Paint Effects Ltd. I expect professional work and professional curtesy . Homedeal did not provide that, they simply did not care.

Please do not use this company!

I put up a quote request on their website. I got someone else to do the job, so I marked the job as completed. There is no way to delete a quote request from their website. Even after I marked it as complete, tradesmen were still able to attach themselves to the completed job, and phone me looking for work, days afterwards.
