The Best Tasting Brownies!
We recently ordered these for my daughter's birthday and stacked them up as an alternative to a cake. They tasted SO GOOD and everybody loved them - particularly my daughter who is Coeliac (all the brownies are gluten free) I have also sent several of the mixed boxes to friends and family as gifts. The service has always been excellent and delivery on time. They have become one of our favourite family treats!

Love the product
Love the product (although not doing my waist line any good!). Good variety of flavours and top quality. Delivery is always prompt as well. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Wonderful flavours
Ordered our box of mixed flavour brownies for our daughters wedding morning to nibble while bride and bridesmaids were being pampered, stayed fresh and flavoursome for days, superb service and quality thank you.

Build your own brownie box …
I had a mixture box of 6 brownies delivered as a gift from a friend. Wow is all I can say. The texture was like nothing I’ve ever tried before and the sizing was perfect. Every flavour was spot on and my favourite was the salted caramel. Super fresh and stayed fresh for a good 3 days after delivery. I will absolutely be making an order in future and couldn’t recommend anymore x

Birthday gift and a huge success!
These were bought for me as a birthday gift. Arrived the next day and came well packaged. We didn’t try them until 2 days later and they were all fresh and had a beautiful gooey brownie consistency! The kids loved them as well and the extra bonus of gluten free ingredients made these perfect in our house of intolerances! The M&M flavour was our favourite. I will definitely be ordering these as gifts and treating us all to more as they were a huge hit!

They delivered the brownies over a day…
They delivered the brownies over a day late and took no responsibility whatsoever. They continued saying were going to deliver later on in the day and still never turned up. I had to advise my friend to stay at home the whole day for nothing. Awful customer service!

We're sorry that DPD delivered your parcel a day later than hoped - this was caused by a vehicle breakdown on the day they initially attempted delivery. DPD attempted to get the vehicle replaced and back out for delivery that day, but were unable to and confirmed at 4:26pm that there would be a short delay (until the following working day).
We received an e-mail from you saying that "Whilst the brownies were really lovely and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them, I was really disappointed that my order arrived a whole day late." We immediately replied to you, apologised for the DPD delay and explained what had happened. Whilst we understand that all delivery details are frustrating, rare incidents like this are relatively out of our control - we will always do everything we can to help, but there was very little we could do here given the circumstances of the breakdown.
Your parcel was delivered the very next day and you always have all the leave safe, leave with neighbour, etc. options available with DPD so there was no need for your friend to be inconvenienced by waiting at home all day. We didn't hear back from you after our e-mail, so believed we had responded to your query satisfactorily. You were very welcome to come back to us to discuss further if you were still unhappy, but we didn't know that was the case until seeing this review. Amazing brownies
We ordered these to create a brownie stack for our wedding, they were absolutely delicious, love that they're gluten free and had vegan options, hugely recommend. Better than any gluten brownies I had while I could still eat them tbh!

Disappointing experience - wouldn't recommend
While the brownies tasted good once we received them the delivery experience and subsequent customer care was extremely disappointing. We ordered these brownies for a party and paid for a specific tracked delivery date at a higher cost, the brownies failed to be delivered on that day, due to a failing with the shipping company. While this experience is not unusual and companies are at the will of courier services I would have expected a refund on the premium delivery service. The brownies arrived 3 days after they were due, not refrigerated as was written on the box and the only option offered was to pay for a shipment of the brownies back again at our expense - with the refund excluding the original (premium) shipping cost. I like to support local UK companies but I can't say I'd use these again given the dismissive nature of their aftercare.

Thanks for the review David. DPD failed to deliver your order on the day you selected, which was down to driver error - you immediately complained to us and we had already been in contact with DPD at that point as this was a non-compliant delivery attempt (as we explained). We asked DPD to get the parcel back out for re-delivery that day, but they failed to do so.
Whilst we completely understand this was frustrating for all, we do rely on DPD and other couriers to deliver our parcels for us and when they let us down we do our very best to get things resolved, but our hands are tied by what they are willing to do. In this case we couldn't get them to do what you were asking for i.e. return and re-deliver the same day despite our best efforts.
You did not pay for a premium delivery service - you paid for the standard next day delivery service, which isn't guaranteed (and this is made clear). Our products do not require refrigeration and this is not written on the box. They are an ambient product, stable for 14 days and arrived in entirely sealed packaging. As you state in your review they 'tasted good once we received them' so we don't believe the delay caused any issues, however you would of course have been welcome to contact us if there had been problems with the product as a result.
With regards the aftercare, we initially explained the situation and pointed out that we can't reasonably take responsibility for delays that our out of control, although we had done everything we could to try and resolve it. This isn't us refusing to take responsibility, but we're just being honest that we don't have control over DPD's drivers unfortunately. As you were still unhappy we offered to cancel your order and refund you in full (less the cost of delivery and returning the product to us) as a gesture of goodwill. You remained unhappy, so we ultimately refunded you in full and allowed you to keep the order in order to close out the complaint.
We're obviously sorry to hear that you felt the aftercare was dismissive, but we believe we did do everything we could to try and resolve this satisfactorily for you.
Great Gift
Received a box of 4 brownies as a birthday gift. 4 flavours; classic, salted caramel, chocolate orange and classic blondie. All nicely arranged in a box.
They are really tasty and a nice treat.
I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.

Brilliant company, delicious brownies.
I got a pack of brownies delivered to me as a birthday gift - since then I've ordered two further boxes of brownies for myself. The brownies are *fantastic*, good texture, good size, excellent flavours. The brownies have been delivered without issue and in good, secure packaging. I have been kept well informed every step of the way for delivery - from dispatch to when they have actually been delivered.
Homemadebrownie.co.uk are a brilliant company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them either for gift brownies or just for a treat for yourself. Go on, treat yourself!
