Very professional, from admin staff to surveyor. Were able to do a level 3 survey the day after I contacted them. Follow-up phone call that afternoon, highlighting the main findings from the survey. Very thorough and comprehensive report, also happy to answer follow-up questions. Have used them three times now and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

We used Honeywell Survey and Design for a Level 2 Home buyer survey in May 2026. The service we have received throughout has been excellent. From discussing our survey needs and booking it in with Claudia, to the survey report and follow up calls with Andrew. The report we've received from him is clear, easy to read, and thorough. The personal touches like phoning us after the survey to discuss key points, and then us having the option to chat again after receiving the report has been great. HSD took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, giving me a detailed but clear list of what needed attention and how to prioritise it.
after we got the report they spent extra time talking it through with me, answering any follow up questions and offering genuinely thoughtful, practical advice.

the survey itself was VERY detailed but still very easy to read thanks to a well structured layout and easy to understand language.

Our experience with Honeywell was fantastic from start to finish. Matthew, our surveyor, was a star. His report was very detailed and informative, pointing out issues we hadn't noticed when we first viewed the house. He was also kind to follow up with a call to answer all of our questions and provide helpful suggestions on how to fix the problems.

Claudia was excellent as well, answering all of my questions about the quote and their services. She was very efficient in scheduling the survey. We also had great help from Will, who scheduled the post-survey call with Matthew.

All in all, our experience was really great, and we would highly recommend Honeywell.

An excellent survey with very detailed verbal and written feedback

Very professional service. The surveyor was thorough both in our opinion and that of the vendor. A prompt verbal report enabled us to take an early view over the properties 'price' and if any major issues could be raised as negotiable on the asking price. Whilst not the lowest price for a survey I do think such attention to detail and the clear depth of knowledge demonstrated by the survey suggests this is good value.

Patrick from the Honeywell Team provided a very professional and more importantly a practical and definitive root cause when diagnosing a defect in the property we were selling. He was happy to stand by his judgement clearly based on his expertise in his field. In my experience many surveys sit on the fence and keep requesting more and more data rather than make a decision.

We needed a Level 3 report for our property, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the company. The report was thorough and detailed, and Luke provided exceptional service throughout. He went above and beyond to guide me, ensuring I had all the information needed to make an informed decision. Their pricing was reasonable, which made us feel confident in our choice. The report was delivered within a week, and they managed to book the appointment just a couple of days after I confirmed—quick and dependable service.

Survey was of a reasonable standard, completed faster than expected (less than two weeks) was cheaper than competitors, and availability was better than competitions. Other surveyors were quoting 4 weeks and more like 1000 pounds for a level 3 survey. Honeywell was more like 600 and completed in less than 2 weeks.

The quoted prices of repairs seemed a little inflated (my father who has some experience in this area said they were around twice the market rate) but this might be of value for negotiation. I don't fully understand the different negotiation games and the value of having over of underestimates for costs.

Some of the "you should get a qualified X to check the house before purchase" was a bit tiresome - but I guess part of the point of getting a surveyor is having someone to sue so they are just disowning responsibility. I do not think many people actually get their house checked for asbestos wall paper and the risk of notweed prior to sale.

I’m very happy with the service from Honeywell Survey & Design. I don’t usually leave reviews but can’t thank Honeywell enough for a brilliant service from initially booking with Kathryn to receipt of such a detailed level 3 RICS report produced by Luke. Great service from start to finish at an unbelievably competitive price. They were more than happy to talk through the report and provided us with additional support when specific issues arose with our mortgage lender. Wouldn’t hesitate in using them again or recommending them to anyone. Thank you again for all your support!

We asked Honeywell Survey and Design Ltd to do a survey of a Grade 2 listed building. They offered a full survey at a reasonable price and as part of that they sent an example survey which was impressive. And the resulting survey, of 120 pages, was indeed up to that very high standard. It was comprehensive and detailed - and explained their findings in learning and understandable language. They offered their advice on the most significant issues needing attention. But before that, we had chance to speak to the surveyor immediately after his inspection - which was very valuable.The only minor issue was the slight delay in delivering the final report. But that is to niggle. We were very satisfied.

The whole process was quick and easy from start to finish. Kathryn was friendly and helpful and she was extremely responsive to all my emails, which was excellent. The survey was thorough and concise. It was easy to choose Honeywell as right from enquiry stage, I felt they were very open and experienced. I would definitely recommend them.
