I phoned Gordon and explained the problem i had with my clock and he invited me to take it to him that day. He called the following day to ask me to collect the clock, he told me what had happened to it and it's now hanging on the wall, a job well done, thank you Gordon

I gifted a Moorcroft clock to a friend, but unfortunately it developed a fault, draining the battery every few months, which was clearly not normal.
I contacted Moorcroft directly and was advised that the clock insert was no longer in production, so they were unable to assist. However, they recommended that I get in touch with Gordon at Horologica.
From the outset, Gordon was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He quickly identified the likely cause of the problem and confirmed that he had spare movements available to carry out the repair.
I sent the clock to him, and within just 10 days it was returned fully repaired and covered by a one-year warranty. Throughout the process, Gordon kept me informed of the progress, providing excellent customer service from start to finish.
Thanks to Gordon's expertise, I am confident that my friend will be able to enjoy the clock for many years to come.

Recently had my small grandfather wall clock repaired and parts replaced by Gordon after it suddenly stopped working. He seems very knowledgeable and informative.
He only had it for a few days as needed to get replacement parts so service was very quick and now have it back with various options for the chimes and also the option to be silent at night which is something more than we had previously. I would definitely use his service again and would be happy to recommend him.

An excellent and very quick service repairing a broken and obsolete clock insert for a Moorcroft pottery

Called about two issue with my clock and the gentleman was able to talk me through the problems to solve both of them over the phone, one issue was the chimes being an hour out, which he managed to easily solve by getting me to push the hour hand back, (it must have gotten moved due to day live saving time at some point) the other issues with the pendulum kept stoping, which, by putting the phone close to the clock, he was able to determine and help me solve, the fact that the clock was not level, minor things really, but things I wouldn’t have figured out myself, I am so grateful and amazed at the man’s skill and knowledge, especially just by listening over the phone, I really can’t recommend enough.

Gordon to the rescue once more. Gave me great advice on how to get my longcase working again without having to take it to him. Thanks again Gordon.

I entrusted Gordon with my mum and dad's clock which was given to them as a wedding present in 1952. He serviced and replaced parts and it is now running perfectly. He explained in detail what he was doing and replacing as the service progressed. He did a fantastic job and I have no problem recommending him.
