Excellent property … 4 of us had wonderful time at The Old Reading Room at Lesbury, beautiful village, quiet and peaceful with lovely volunteer run upmarket village shop/cafe, pretty garden (with handy lawn area for woofs) and just 20 min walk to coastal village of Alnmouth.

Spacious property with everything we needed … but echo some previous reviews - would much prefer a paper/ring binder ‘house manual’ than an online one … as nice to get away from phones! And easier for quick reference

Beautiful Mobile Home . Was absolutely SPOTLESS . Was a group of 4 and had a Fantastic weekend .

Well, the apartment itself, was ok, but cobwebs, plenty, of..no freezer,
Just a fridge. Pots and cutlery were, un-clean, at to wash before using them, very noisy floorboards very loose, so sound travles, and people above sounds like there in your bedroom, .Plus side, internet, spot on, location, was good, apart from being down an alleyway,

Beautiful house, very clean and spacious. It was the perfect place for us to stay for a family visit. Would definetly recommend!!

The accommodation was very nice as was the location. It was clean tidy and very homely. There was just one thing not quite right and that was - in the morning there was a smell in the kitchen like a drain was blocked, though it seemed to go as the day progressed. It might have been coming from next door I don't know, other than that I would certainly recommend the accommodation.

The location is great. The dogs loved exploring Tyneside Riverside Country Park.
The cottage is nice. However the beds really let it down. They are very soft and uncomfortable, as mentioned in other reviews, which is a shame as it would put us off staying here again.

Me and my partner love Cooks Cabin in Whitby. We've rebooked 4 times now. However, one occurring theme keeps cropping up. The place isn't as clean as it should be. Dirty radiator in bathroom. Dirty bathroom fan. Dirty skirting boards. Dirty fake flowers( my partner cleaned two of them). All this and we get charged £50.

A problem srose with the lavatory cistern which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Location is excellent.

We booked a stay at the Abbey View in Whitby.
The apartment was nothing like they advertised - old, dated, smelled, shelf ripped off the wall.
Completely false advertising, the photographs used must have been 20 years old, different furnishings, layout everything!!

Excellent communication from the start, with quick responses also. The location was perfect and our place was just as the photos showed. Clean and tidy, would definitely use again in the future.

A very comfortable apartment in a great location. Plenty of room to relax, well appointed kitchen, nice bathroom and bedroom.

The apartment was centrally located if behind a row of shops but convenient for a parking space and other facilities. For us the kitchen was a little sparsely equipped with utensils. The quality of them could have been higher which had some impact on what meals could be easily prepared. The sofa was acceptable but yet again could have been better on the comfort scale.

Perfect location, great to have the carparking attached to the house with plenty of room for more than one car. Nice and roomy property , very nicely decorated with everything you need for home from home stay. Will certainly look out for this ones availability next time we book.

Delightful very well equipped cottage with a nice garden area and within a few minutes walk of Helmsley Centre, fully recommended and would definitely stay again

It’s a lovely place and near everything very cosy and homely had every thing you could need compfy beds nice bathroom cozy lounge can’t fault it would stay again

We stayed at a cottage in North Yorkshire booked through Host and Stay. Charlie was exceptionally helpful answering my dotty questions promptly. I think we are both early birds as I was getting replies well before 9:00am. Nothing was too much trouble, including my plea for help to locate the iron! Information was clear and timely. My only suggestion would be to be able to search the site by number of dogs allowed. Finding somewhere that will take my 4 canine friends can be tricky.
