My flatmates and I had a terrible experience with Housr. While the fault didn't lay entirely with them (we had 2 electricity meters which confused matters), they were incredibly slow to respond to emails and refused to acknowledge any fault in the matter, wherein EDF weren't being paid for months on end. There doesn't seem to be common data base for recurring issues, which led to us becoming incredibly frustrated by having to repeatedly provide the same information. Further to this, there was no consistency with regards pricing, which meant my flatmates and I were all paying different amounts. While they didn't ask us to pay the exit fees in the end, and refunded us to what we would've paid had we signed up to their pay-as-you-go programme, they seem to be incompetent and I would not recommend them.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t a positive one.
As you mentioned, the situation was complicated by the property having two electricity meters, which did unfortunately, cause some confusion during the setup and billing process.
That said, once the issue was fully reviewed, we worked with you to resolve the account and ultimately removed the exit fees and refunded the account so that you only paid the equivalent of our pay-as-you-go tariff. We appreciate your patience while this was being investigated.
We are sorry if you felt communication during this process could have been smoother, we’ll take that feedback on board as we continue improving how we manage very complex property setups like this.
