Vistaprint who I had my domain and email with for many years decided to transfer all their loyal clients to Hover.com. Well, what a nightmare this so called company is, since this transfer happened I can no longer receive my business emails and they are not even interested in helping. I will be obtaining authorisation code and transferring my domain elsewhere. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!

Horrible service stay away
Horrible service stay away. 1 week after I paid and activated the domain, I realize the domain was down and available for sale on hover. no explaination email or so whatever was emailed to me I opened a support ticket to which no one answered. my account was locked out. when I contacted support they said call us on the international toll free number, which as a matter of fact doesn't work. they said if u can't call us we cant help you.I don'tunderstand what's so hard to be explained in a chat. when I asked for refund they said money was not deducted from your card. which is not true, I showed them the invoice and the payment event from my banking app. no results. absolute scam. very unprofessional. highly do not recommend.

Really bad service and I’m one of those who wished I had done better research.
I’ve used them for some years now but only because my emails are so linked to everything in my life that to change service provider now would be huge effort and time.
Most of my problems relate to not being able to send emails. How basic can you get !!
For those who do research please avoid Hover at all costs.
Crap service
Crap service. They dont respond to emails , they send emails from robot. The help email they ask you to contact is just a smoke screen. No human being responds. My domains expired as I was to reset my password to renew before they expired. The reset email never comes. A hacker used my credit . They dont resolve anything dont do business with them. This is the worst domain company I have known. My domains are stuck in an account I am failing to access . They are pathetic.

Great company! I’ve transferred all my domains over to Hover from 123-reg and now get all my new ones from Hover.
WARNING!!
WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had auto-renew on for my website. When the renewal came, they didn't automatically renew it!! (as they had for many years, and the auto-renewal clearly indicated on every email I received from them). The credit card attached to the account had NOT expired - and they gave no indication the renewal had not gone thru as usual. When I finally noticed my website wasn't working, it had been sold - and they're asking $12,900 to get it back - when I originally paid $15.99!!!
Can't reset my password
I've purchased a domain and the next day it still wasn't available, which isn't the problem. The problem was when I tried to log in and apparently my password was incorrect, so I've tried to reset password but I guess their backend just doesn't work so I never received an email also magic token sign in doesn't work.
Sad experience
We had been with hover for 12 years.
The first 10 years were wonderful - their customer service was excellent.
For the last two years we have had issues - a significant amount of server down time, errors, and now after some very upsetting security issues and customer service issues we switched to another provider.
We were told by hover we would have a week to transfer our emails. After three days they deleted them.
I guess this is just the final confirmation we did the right thing.

After purchasing a domain and using their email for some time, they removed my domain ownership and purged all my emails, without even letting me know.
When I called to understand why I was locked out of my account, they refused to give any details apart from what I wrote above. My previously owned domain is now available for purchase again. Unbelievable.

Ho utilizzato il servizio per un dominio.net su consiglio del Marketplace ETSY e per il primo anno tutto ok. Poi mi sono ritrovato un addebito PayPal di un importo a mio parere alto per il rinnovo dove avrei trovato alla metà del prezzo lo stesso servizio da un altro provider. La cosa che più mi ha dato fastidio in primis è che nel frattempo non avevo ricevuto nessuna email ne di preventivo per il rinnovo ne di altre informazioni, in pratica potevano addebitarmi qualsiasi cifra senza che io lo sapessi prima. Per via di questo comportamento ho aperto una pratica PayPal oltre che contattarli. Dopo il temporaneo blocco per le verifiche da parte di PayPal ricevo una comunicazione che oltre all'importo alto del dominio avrei dovuto pagare ulteriori 15 Usd perchè non ho pagato lo stesso giorno della scadenza (avendo bloccato il pagamento per i dovuti controlli). In pratica per un giorno di ritardo mi hanno applicato quasi il doppio del costo del servizio. Sono decenni che acquisto domini e mai mi era capitata una cosa del genere. Nessuna risposta alle mie domande, ma solo imposizioni di pagare per riavere attivo il dominio, altrimenti non posso nemmeno trasferirlo in quando mi hanno tolto l'accesso al sito. Incredibile tutto questo, evitate di acquistare servizi da questa azienda!!
Digital slumlords pawned my domain
I didn't even sign up for hover -- they ate enom, my last domain provider. Then my credit card was expired so they sold my domain name to The Domain Agents. I was expected to pay $20 to open negotiations to get my personal domain back. I chose to give up the domain rather than enrich these ghouls. Awful people. Avoid.

Registered, bought domains and after several hours got refund and domains have been deregistered.
Requested an explanation from support but no response.
Then again registered the same two domains successfully and after several hours again - the domains has been deregistered, the account was blocked!
No explanations, no notification - nothing on the second time.
And when I asked for help via online chat, som person named Wyatt said - call us, and only then we will give you the explanations.
Fortunately all money was returned back!
Cant access my domains for 3 and counting...
I reported a fault to customer service in September (reference #2425040), I've been unable to access my domain list. The site bugs out and redirects me to my first domain.
It's now December and I still can't access my domain list. I've tried to contact Customer Service again (reference #2455087) but they're insisting I need to disable two factor authentication before they will speak to me. That is the most ridiculous.

Great experience for the past 8 years
I've used Hover for all my personal sites and client sites for the past 8 years and have never had an issue. They are the best pricing and most intuitive interface in comparison to other domain registrars we have used. Honestly baffled by the negative reviews because we've never had an issue and always recommend them to our clients.

initially was harder to set up then most domain sites, and their Payment structure is suspect. they are a bill first, ask questions later, and will flat out refuse to give refunds for unauthorized billing on their end.
go somewhere else.
