I originally started going to HQ because they offered payment assist. I took my old car to a name brand garage and they missed severe safety faults on the MOT.

HQ appeared on my google search so thought I would give them a try.

I've been going to HQ for two years now. From timing belts to MOT and everything in between.

The team are knowledgeable and honest. Whenever a fault or problem is found, the team phone you and give you options, not the usual it's broken, and I will fleece you for what I can.

The fact you get an itemised receipt and follow-up care is fantastic.

I've recommended many of my friends to come to HQ. The payment assist is a great safety net and knowing that the team will look after you is brilliant.

You could probably save a few quid going to a back street garage, but the assurance and safety you get with HQ is second to none.

Took my aging ford focus in for its annual service and MOT. Kept up to date about the progress of the service throughout the day. The car needed some work on the suspension and some TLC. The fact that the list of work extended to a few pages, the bill was a lot cheaper than expected and cheaper than large chain garages previously used. Customer service was excellent. Happy days

I have been a satisfied customer of HQ A&L for several years. In addition to regular MOTs and services on four aging cars, the crew has sorted other problems that have come up very efficiently at reasonable cost. My latest visit was to replace two tyres, which were brought in and fitted within a hour.

First time I have used HQ, I went to my car and the battery was completely flat, I called HQ and he sorted everything out there and then, was at my car with a new battery within the hour. As the bonnet was up he noticed my antifreeze was below minimum, suggested I called up to his premises within the next hour and he would top it up for me, which he did. Great service, will definitely be using HQ again next time anything needs doing with my car
