We have been with HS Direct for 10+ years now and they have never let us down with there knowledge! Latest task/help needed I was speaking with Daniel M and he went above and beyond to ensure I had the answer I needed, and extra. Great Service as ever!!

Great service

Needed a risk assessment and method statement within 48hrs, after speaking with Chris ( Christopher Hooey ) he put my mind at ease, ran me over all the information he needed, explained prices to me, helped me with first aid and Health And Safety documents, all I can say is thank you! If you need this done, pay the money and get it done right… first time!

We have been using Hs direct for the last 4 years now they are a great company to have on side. Still no contact despite several requests for resolution

HS Direct have yet made any attempt to resolve an issue that has been static for almost a year. I was badgered via calls, emails, voicemails on both office and mobile calls by pushy sales. Representative attempted to use local businesses to establish common ground to obtain credit card details to make a full payment over the phone. Since then, have received little to nothing substantial to support or assist with accreditation. An email ticket system is in place and emails you to submit evidence which is entirely generic and automated. No real support for SME's. I have had to report this to Action Fraud and Citizen's Advice. HS Direct to be reported against Unfair Trading Regulations for high-pressure sales and misleading practices.

A member of our Client Success team have been trying to contact you directly over the past few weeks so they can properly review the concerns you’ve raised and work through each point with you. Our team are still very keen to discuss this in detail so that we can fully understand what has happened and get things back on track for you.

Having reviewed your account, we can see there has been a significant amount of activity from our Accreditations Team, particularly around the acknowledgements and submissions relating to your SSIP. However, we also recognise from your comments that the process hasn’t felt smooth on your side, and that you’ve had to carry out more of the work than expected. That is absolutely not the experience we want any client to have.

We would really welcome the opportunity to go through the specific policy module you mentioned, the support you were expecting from the Safety First and Contractor First packages, and any instances where you felt our guidance fell short. Without being able to speak with you directly, it’s difficult for us to fully investigate and resolve these concerns.

Please could you contact us at your earliest convenience so we can work through this together? Our goal is to ensure you receive the level of service, support, and clarity that you should rightly expect from us.

Rebecca Lomas was exceptional

Rebecca Lomas was exceptional. I couldn't be happier with the help and support i received. Every question i had was answered in as much detail as possible. Even the problems i was encountering with my own software was very kindly overcome and accommodated for.
If you need a company that gives you as much time and support as you need then HS Direct is that company. I couldn't be happier with there support and assistance. Every member of staff i have had the pleasure in dealing with have been exceptional. They really do go above and beyond to support your needs. All i can say is thank you. Having you on hand is a game changer for my business and Professional development.

We have been using HS Direct - Safety First Package for 8 plus years. Never had any issues always there when we need them for H&S advise, etc. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service once more!

Another exceptionally smooth pathway to gain our CHAS and SMAS accreditations for 2026!

Chloe W was extremely thorough and ultra efficient throughout, which made my life a lot easier during a very busy spell.
We have been with HS Direct for quite a few years now and I firmly believe the service goes from strength to strength.

auto renewal scam and won't talk to me guys says not his department no1 is available and will call back, had a call back then put phone down 1 minute into call, and still says same after calling back

Do not use HS Direct

We engaged HS Direct to handle our accreditation renewals for SSIP and Constructionline and take out the Safety First and Contractor first package.
Unfortunately, the service has been extremely disappointing. Over the past two months, we have had to complete the majority of the work ourselves, as submissions prepared on our behalf have repeatedly been returned for being insufficient. Despite the delays and setbacks, we have received little proactive support to resolve the issues or support us to where we need the policies to be, and our accreditations remain unrenewed.
We are still awaiting proper advice and assistance to complete the remaining policy module, which we specifically require expert guidance on. In addition, the “Safety First” package has proven to be very basic and not fit for purpose for a larger contractor. The “Contractor First” package also falls well short of how it was presented during the sales process and has been particularly disappointing.

In our experience, the sales process has been far stronger than the aftercare and delivery! Based on the difficulties we have encountered, we would advise other businesses to fully understand what level of support they will realistically receive before committing.

Best service for Risk assessments

Daniel Moore and the rest of the team at HS are extremely helpful and helped me step by step with my Risk assements, whenever i phoned up with even the most basic questions they always took the time to talk me through each stage that i was stuck on.
They always stayed on the phone until each stage i was stumped on was completed which is always appreciated.

Dissatisfied

If you are thinking of using this company I would reccomend trying a competitor, very bad at dealing with issues and communication, which ultimately has proved costly.
