Some models to avoid.
I have bowned a HSP Sonic 1/10 2 Speed Nitro Car (Model number 94102) new, and I have to say that I have never used it more than 10 minutes without having a problem and needing to repare it. I had no idea an RC model could be that bad.
Examples of issues are:
-The quality of the metal and plastic parts are very poor and the bodyshell was not cut right by the factory
-The 2 speed gearbox always fails wether it would be the shifting mechanism, the one way bearing and the gears which would always strip even though the gearmesh was set correctly.
-The heatsink of the VX18 engine has developped a leak between itself and the engine head.
If you were to try out one of their models I would avoid the risk of buying their 1/10 scale nitro models. There is a possibility that their 1/8 scale models are better but cannot confirm this as I have never owned one but I will update the review if I ever own one in the future.
