we ordered 2no PC's for our office. the sales process was very easy. delivery was fast and the PC's are great quality.
Brilliant company, excellent product
I found the guys at HST online when looking to get my daughter her first gaming PC, after spending a while searching I came across there company, from the get go they were friendly, helpful and informative. I went ahead and ordered the 7 series bundle. After a few days I received an email saying it was on its way and would be delivered the next day. Unfortunately and by no means HST’s fault the parcel was misdirected and sent back to the supplier. It was now less than four days until my daughters birthday. After then speaking with the team, they managed to still get me a complete bundle delivered in time for her birthday. As for the system and accessories, very very good value for money, and looks fantastic when it is up and running withe the tower, keyboard, mouse and headphones all lighting up and changing colours. my daughter does things like play Minecraft/ Roblox, watch videos on all the usual streaming sites and makes her own videos while using paint also. The windows 10 version was brand new and once it was set up and running it has no issues running lots of programs at once without any issues. I bought the basic bundle and upgraded the SSD as recommended by my uncle who works in IT. I would 1000% recommend to anybody looking to get a first time PC and is not looking to run games that use a high frame rate like, first person shooter/ racing games.

Hi I bought a new gaming Pc for my son…
Hi I bought a new gaming Pc for my son 18 months ago and was happy with the service I received at the time , but then recently it stopped working .
I contacted them by email and they suggested a few causes but we weren’t able to resolve the issue so I asked them to quote for a repair.
I dropped the computer off some 25 miles away. They looked at the PC straightaway rang me to say it was something and nothing and it was ready to collect the following day. They did all the software updates , cleaned all the parts to make sure I would have no further issues and would not have to go back again and now it is working as it should.
They didn’t charge even though it was out of warranty. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend Dom and his team as they were great. It’s great to see a small company not ripping off its customers and for that ,when I need a new pc or laptop it is HST I will go to first.

So very pleased with my PC and dual monitor set up.
The packaging was sturdy and very safe.
Dispatch was just 6 working days from when I placed my order,and delivery was exceptional from DPD.
The PC and monitors are mint,PC looks brand new as I am sure are the keyboard and mouse.
I had one issue,where I could not find a option for the PC to connect to WiFi - turns out the PC is not WiFi enabled built in,but comes by way of a external USB dongle which is also kindly included by HST - this is a small item and I misplaced it within the box and all it's styrofoam packing.
I messaged HST to see why I could not connect to WiFi ( as per via the PC ),and they messaged me back saying it was via the dongle - so I dived into the box and found the item -100% brilliant customer service for a idiot like myself - although the dongle is a small item and can easily get lost/thrown away in all of the packing .
All in all,I am so very happy with HST ( read some of the reviews,so was a little nervous as what to expect ).
My PC is a little rocket,not a powerhouse like some of the later models,but it is lightning fast for me and my needs.

Be patient, well worth it
I am a small business, needed a laptop but couldn't buy new. My personal one was commandeered by my three children during their home schooling during the 2020 pandemic and I was getting nothing done.
Was impressed with the prices on HST but dubious as to why the seemed so low. My refurbished Dell laptop arrived, with upgrades as requested, very quickly and by courier. Unfortunately, the battery wasn't holding charge, so asked them if that was to be expected on a refurb, and they arranged to have it back and put a new battery in with no quibbling.
Bit of back and forth as I was slow with answering emails about my password for it, then they were busy, but we got there.
There were reviews online about how slow they were I would like to respond to: this is a small British company, with real people, with shifts and families to support. They are not a big multinational throwing out badly done work, super fast to take your money and abusing their staff in the process.
You need to be patient and sometimes I had to wait for an answerphone response or email reply, or prompt again. But we talk about supporting small British businesses, paying what they are worth, and "shopping local", we then need to amend our expectations because they are NOT a massive multinational misusing their staff to meet your demands.
Thankyou HST, my little business is now growing with your help, and I know exactly where to come when I need another machine.
No problems using HST
No problems using HST, Gaming p.c arrived only 2 days after expected time but good quality for money. If you want a budget gaming p.c for anyone I would point you in HST's direction. You get what you pay for dependent on budget. My son is happy with what he got for his hard earned savings.

Difficulty in getting my laptop back after repair. Now resolved.
Bought an HP laptop 6 months ago. Service then was OK. Laptop now totally dead. Returned under warranty mid June 2021, ack'd receipt, phoned and told it was being sorted. Now totally ignoring me for repair and return. Turning into a nightmare experience with a £500 laptop now missing and not returned.
UPDATE: Laptop has been returned in full working order. A voicemail was left which confirmed this. Originally, several emails of mine went unanswered; Phones were not answered at that time. And it took this post to get an answer. The service was OK in the end, I'll give them the benefit of difficult current trading circumstances. Glad the matter has been satisfactorily resolved.

I wish it was an option to give no stars, I begrudge this company even 1 star.
I ordered a laptop from HST and was told it would be approx 10 days delivery. It took 6 weeks for them to send me the laptop after sporadic communication, blaming Covid. They did offer a cancellation but I just really wanted the laptop and the spec I had paid for. When I recieved the machine it was faulty and couldn't connect to the internet. I asked for advice from HST and was ignored so I proceeded with a return and requested a refund. They recieved the laptop back and have totally ignored all emails from me and not issued any refund. I will have to get legal advice on how to get my money back.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I brought 2 pc’s from hst
I brought a pc from hst in December for my daughter and was very happy with the delivery no issues. My son then decided he wanted one so I ordered one for his birthday in April there was a delay with delivery and was hard to get hold of them at first. When I did get through they apologised and explained the reason for the delays were staff were just coming back from furlough and they had a delay on some parts. When it did turn up we were very happy with it.

5*s... why? Because they god damn well deserve them!!
Required a basic, budget model at a really good price, helping a friend out and buying them a laptop for online learning to help them in a new job as a support worker. HST totally came up trumps, beating the other obvious online retailers. Refurbished, one teeny weeny, tiny scuff on its butt, which I had difficulty finding. If this is a fair condition then their good conditions must be immaculate!

My experience ordering from HST.
Firstly, I’m only going to be talking about my personal experience buying from HST.
I brought a “Gaming PC Bundle” on Friday, the 14th of May. The description of the PC said it can take anywhere between 7-14 days to build and 1-2 days to deliver. When I went to place my order, the order description instead suggested that it would take anywhere between 10-14 days to build and 1-2 days to deliver. This in of it’s self isn’t a huge deal, but it’s worth making a note of.
It’s worth noting that shortly after placing my order I had a look at a huge amount of reviews that other people had placed on Trust Pilot and started to see how other people’s experiences differed from my own.
On Tuesday, the 18th of May I submitted a Inquiry on HST’s website to try and get a update as to where my PC was in terms of it getting built but got no response. So following other people’s suggestions I joined the Live chat on their website and spoke to Jane, she told me to allow 7-14 days for my PC to be built to order and that my order was estimated for the 4th June.
A couple of days later I came across another PC for sale for about the same price that I could get far sooner. So on Thursday, the 20th of May I submitted another Inquiry asking to get help with cancelling my order and to get a full refund. I had also sent a email saying the same thing to their email address and got no answer from ether of them.
Today is Friday, the 21st of May, 2021 and with Jane’s help through the Live chat, she submitted my cancellation request to her head office, shortly after I received a email saying: “Your cancellation has been requested for you. As soon as this has been acknowledged and your refund issued, you will be notified by email. This can take up to 14 working days.”
Considering the “slowness” that I’ve experienced so far, I fully expect that I won’t see my money again until Friday next week. Which doesn’t workout for me at all.
In short, if you don’t mind waiting your days away waiting for you PC related products with as little communication as possible then order from HST. But if you expect to be consistently updated or just plainly want something more then for your well being look for a PC elsewhere.
EDIT: I have since been in contact with Andrew from HST. We had a polite conversation over the phone, and we discussed my concerns over my refund.

Avoid hassle go somewhere else.
Please avoid this company. Empty words and empty promises. Have had to get a refund through PayPal and have a very upset son who is worried about losing his money. Avoid stress buy one from a reputable company.
Jo in customer service worked to get this sorted for me and my son has now received his items and they are working well so far.

I had doubts about this company at first, kept getting in touch with them to see where my order was, was still in build then in test a month later. Finally arrived today and I am very happy with my purchase! All products working in good condition and the kind customer service lady Jane is sending me out another lead so I can get my other monitor connected up to my tower. Overall I'm one happy customer :)

Placed an order on 01/03/21 for a gaming PC for my 13 year old son. No email ever received with a dispatch date, when I chased it I was told it was delayed due to the covid situation, understandable but why am Im chasing it, inform the customer. 31st March cancelled the order due to my son becoming very impatient and no actual date given for dispatch. Jo @ HST emailed saying the cancellation had been received an my refund would be within 14 working days. Its now the 12th Working day and still nothing. I havent had to return anything to prolong the refund status I never received this order. Absolutely shocking I would not recommend you will be extremely disappointed. Jo did answer my emails enquiries quickly but I dont want to be chasing my refund for something I never had!!!!!!

I purchased a Dell computer built to my spec. from HST in October 2020 which until April has been fantastic, i have had a slight problem with the unit and so contacted HST via email, they requested the item back for inspection ,the unit was duly sent off to HST. they had it for a few days and returned it to me stating no fault found but did include a new VGA cable which rectified the fault . There has been no charge for the cable and i find this gesture outstanding and would recommend anyone who is considering purchasing a new computer to give HST a chance to help you with your requests, they are brill nothing is to much trouble please give them a try
