STILL WAITING (OVER 3 WEEKS NOW!)

Its been over 3 weeks now and I still haven't got my laptop. When I ask they just say it will be in a couple of days, but I'm still waiting.. Honestly if you want a laptop, DON'T use these guys!!

February 2021..my computer develops a fault , sent it by delivery company to HST and ( don't forget we have Covid , floods and then snow and ice ) Rachel on reception gets her top technician to telephone me he telephones on the Thursday and explains that due to circumstances my computer cannot be repaired , he has ordered the parts and will supply a replacement computer , same specification , and that he will put my old hard drive into the replacement along with a new hard drive and motherboard ( the bit that went wrong).
Monday morning true his word Mike rings me again , tells me he has completed it and that I will get it back Tuesday by DPD ( best delivery firm in the UK).
I am making a book on my computer , hundreds of images might have been lost.
You won't find a firm that supplies this level of service and personal contact , use them with confidence.

I would not order from this company…

I would not order from this company again. No goods and no refund after over 3 months. No reply to my last email on the 3rd of Feb 2021(today's date 11 Feb). Ordered Dec 5th waited 45 days and still no delivery, even after being promised delivery 15th jan (didn't arrive). Cancelled my order 18th Jan, advised refund would take 3 to 4 days than advised upto 10 days, waited 17 days still no refund. Today still no refund (3 months and 1 week after money was taken). Now having to get my bank involved. Disgusting customer service and I would not advise using this company .
Update: Finally received my refund 24/02/202, 38 days after cancelling, THANKS TO MY BANK, not them!!!! I believe if I hadn't got my bank involved I would still be waiting.
I was contacted by trustpilot informing me that HST would like my contact details so they could get more information about my review, I provided my contact details even though they already had them, but guess what, they never contacted me. Seems to be a pattern running through this company: money taken, no goods delivered, difficult to contact, lack of information, fight to get a refund (this has been my experience). Does this sound familiar to others.

DUDE, It came!

Hi there, I ordered my pc sometime 3 weeks ago. They’ve told me that screens have been released. THEY TOLD ME 14-16 DAYS AT THE MOST AND STILL HASN’T COME. Please help. I need this PC ASAP

Great assistance from Jane at HighSpec…

On 6th February 2021; Great assistance from Jane at HighSpec Tech in choosing an HP computer to my requirements.
I couldn't have done it without her time and patience. Excellent so far. Looking forward to receiving my Computer now.
Update; On 1st April 2021; Very nearly eight weeks later, I had a full refund to my bank account by the helpful people at Paypal.
Even now, today 8th April 2021, after resolution there has been no apology from HST or explanation as to why my purchase was delayed to the point where I felt I had no choice but to move to reclaim my funds.
I shall avoid this company in future. However, I am very glad of the payment protection from the helpful people at Paypal which helped me reclaim my funds.
Being without my hoped for computer has meant a loss of opportunity during the time I had expected to be using it, which cannot be easily regained.

32 days and counting...

Placed an order on the 3rd January.
Im one of the most reasonable and patient people ever, but what has annoyed me the absolute most is the poor communication. I understand that Brexit has caused a nightmare for businesses but its been over 2 weeks since we were first informed of the issue and still no sign of even a dispatch email. I am contacting again tomorrow.

TOP CLASS - 5 STARS

Bought a top spec PC exactly one year ago and forgot to leave a review. A year flat to the mat as a work and game machine and it hasn't skipped a beat - absolutely amazing machine. When ordered it arrived within a week or two, adequately packaged hassle free. Cannot fault this company, would highly recommend and will use again.

UPDATE

It has been i month since I've placed my order and still not anywhere to be seen. It would have been fine had they given me any sort of response or way to talk to them. However, not any of the sort has happened. I'm just disappointed.

UPDATE
I hqve recently spoken with a person from HST who has recently informed me on the order. The reason orders have been late is because of Brexit making part shipments difficult. I have also been informed that the PC will come at around Saturday. Issues have been mostly resolved so please give this company the benefit of the doubt as it is of great 1uality for a small business.

Used hst for the first time for a…

Used hst for the first time for a refurbished pc was quoted 10-14 days for build time and delivery which was fine. Pc arrived within 1 week of ordering. Communication from Jo in particular was excellent always replying to any questions I had via email the same day. Would def use again.
Brilliant service.

I ordered a gaming pc on 8th December

I ordered a gaming pc on 8th December. It didn't arrive by Christmas. When I got them on the phone I realised that wowcher was at fault for saying it would be there on time. This company had a cut of point for orders for Christmas. i found Andrew to be extremely helpful and apologetic,(even though it was not their fault). Anyway. Received the pc a few weeks ago and my Son loves it. Very High Spec Tech. Great makes and very happy with it. Andrew even kindly compensated us also. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

Fantastic customer service , satisfied.

Previously a bad rating as delayed to xmas etc. However, contacted by the owner and sorted everything out , refunded money to buy headset which wasnt in stock to save my son waiting any longer . Really good value gaming pc , think just a busy time over xmas but if u have any problems get in touch it will be resolved . Thank you jacob

HST quality service and friendly staff

We bought my son a laptop from HST, the staff were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The laptop arrived promptly and was in good condition. It was a Christmas present so it was put away for about 5 weeks. When my son started using the machine we noticed a battery issue. I contacted HST who immediately organised a collection, fixed the issue and he had the machine back 3 days later. He was so pleased. I had concerns buying a renewed machine but HST were excellent.
I would recommend HST and think they are a top company and deserve my 5 star rating.

Order still not arrived.

I ordered a gaming pc for my sons birthday on 09.01.21. Ordered a month ago today, so I allowed plenty of time. The expected delivery date was 29th December. I haven’t heard anything from this company regarding my order. I have emailed them and left messages on their website but I’ve had no response. They don’t give a phone number on their website to chase anything. I think they are taking peoples money with no intention of delivering goods. This company is a scam- don’t buy anything from them.
UPDATE 17/01/2021: The computer arrived today. After e-mailing Jo Hague last weekend and asking for the computer by the end of this week, it did arrive to save me asking for my money back. It all seems to be working absolutely fine, so there are no issues with the item. It’s just a shame there wasn’t better communication with customers to inform of delays and reassure customers that the company isn’t a scam company.

Poor service and still no delivery

I ordered a bundle through wowcher on 28th November 2020 for our sons Christmas and we have still not received it. Not only do we have a very sad and disappointed son there is still absolutely no sign of our bundle. I have emailed several times over the past 3 weeks asking for more information and when wowcher got involved had a response saying someone would look into it. Still waiting for an update!! I would like to cancel the order and get a refund but no one is answering my calls. So disappointed with the poor service. I completely understand this is a difficult time for everyone and this seems to be a small team, however, I feel the company have taken on more than they can handle and have been unable to deliver ruining many kids’ christmas!

Great after sales service…

I ordered a pc for a birthday present in November, it didn't arrive in time. So we kept it as our sons Christmas present. When he got it, it wasn't suitable as a gaming pc for him to play fortnite without the quality and the gaming experience being affected. So I contacted hst but got no reply (it was the Christmas break). In the meantime I had to go to another retail outlet to buy a suitable pc which cost me considerably more than the one from hst. I then contacted hst again saying how disappointed I was that I had had to go and purchase a pc elsewhere as I had a rather distressed, upset and disappointed 12 year old who wanted to play with his pc and couldn't. My 2nd email was read by Andrew, Director of hst, who has been absolutely lovely. He understood my frustrations and wanted to help me resolve the problem. If I hadn't bought elsewhere, he would have helped to provide the components I needed. But as I had committed elsewhere, he has agreed to collect his pc and we agreed a partial refund. I could not ask for more customer service than that. Andrew, if you read this, thank you for being so professional and I only regret not taking to you sooner. I would recommend anyone to use hst (expect delays at christmas time, this will happen anywhere that is building a pc for you). I would only advise you to ring them up before you order and ensure what you are buying will do what you want it to. These guys know what they are talking about andi certainly cannot complain at all about their after sales customer service.

UPDATED

Ordered in plenty of time to get for child's xmas gift, guaranteed delivery by 23/12 was advertised. Chased on 22nd no reply to calls or emails, chased again on 23rd got an email saying delivery on 24th with tracking ref.
They only delivered the keyboard pack on 24th. Called to find out where the PC and screen were, was told they'd call back in 10 mins, they didn't. Got an answer on my 15th call and said it was on its way. Guaranteeing delivery today, 29th.
Nothing came, no tracking ref provided, now not answering calls. When any calls are answered its someone claiming they're just an answering service that don't know anything and can't answer any questions, just pass on messages.
Absolutely appalling customer service, worst I've come across in years.

UPDATE: BUMPED FROM 1 UP TO 3 STARS
Arrived on 30th only a day later than the 2nd date given. Had the communication been better and I was told this beforehand it could’ve saved a lot of upset for my daughter, stress for me and them receiving such a negative review. Overall happy with the product but far from a pleasurable purchasing experience. They should have more faith in their customers, we will understand if there are delays, it’s the failure to communicate and not knowing what’s going that ruins the experience for us.

ANDY is the guy you need

Ordered a PC on the 3rd, delivery was supposed to be 22nd, when i called was promised it would 100% be here for Xmas as they have kids and understand.... Xmas eve came only the keyboard delivered no PC rang all day to be promised by Rachel & Ash they would call me back , but nobody bothered, then when called goes to just a caller who passes message on .....checked again today DPD do not even have the item ...rang again and they are not answering just passing messages on ....have ruined Xmas as my son has a keyboard, no PC what does he do pretend to play a game 🤔 I will be taking it further.....As of 30th now received the PC however can't get it to work, spoke to Andy via video call who was great, realised PC not working and got another shipped straight out which i had 1st thing on 31st and works perfect.....Wish had spoke with Andy 1st as he was really great and efficient
