I had a new floor installed in my flat recently, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding and the installation was done flawlessly. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. A special thanks to Tim, who took the time to help me choose the perfect timber for my space, especially when I was torn apart with all the choice. His guidance and patience were invaluable. I highly recommend this company for top quality flooring.

Love, love, love my flooring. Mansion weave and very wide planks downstairs. Wide planks on the first floor. Very helpful working with our stair company to get a good match and our foreman running the house renovation. Very flexible with our build time table. Came back to finish front door area as builders were not ready. Explained the best time the work needed to be done, IE before decorating. I have a great floor. Particularly love the mansion weave. Tim the owner more than helpful. Fitters worked hard to get the best fit with the complicated weave and took pride with the finish. I wish I could add photos. Very happy

We recently had HS Wood Flooring replace our wooden floor in the living room and hallway as our old parquet flooring had been damaged in a flood and I can honestly say that our replacement wooden floor looks absolutely stunning and far exceeds our expectations. Adam, who laid the floor was absolutely fantastic and gave us an update at the end of every day with pictures of the progression and has done an absolutely wonderful job. I would highly recommend HS Wood Flooring to anyone considering having a new wooden floor.

I couldn't speak more highly for these guys, pure professionalism from the outset. Their quote was sensible and competitive which for parquet is not always the case. Julio fitted our floor, he worked on the weekend unprompted and did an amazing job. The parquet looks spot on, I will definitely use them again in the future.

I am that client that unfortunately don’t have anything good to say about the company, quality of work and the company director. I had a small task to renew floor in one of my rooms. I’ve reached out to them, communication wasn’t great at the start, but lead by the positive reviews I’ve ignored this red flag. I did everything that I could to provide all the information, and not being asked any follow up question, I assumed that all is set. On the day two people came in and gone straight to work. I did ask a few questions before they started, if some extra protection on skirting or anywhere else was required but I was assured that nothing will happen, it won’t be necessary, and everything was left unprotected.
The room was done after 6 hours. As that was suspiciously too quick, I checked product specification and I found out that the workers did not give enough time to let dry the lacquer recommended 3 hours, only cut down the drying time to 30 min. In the end, the workers told me that they did occasional works for this company for the last 3 months as the subcontractors. So instead of bringing his employees, I had some people from outside of the company.
I went to my room the next day to see the work in a day light and this is where my first shock happened. My skirting was damaged and requires repainting all around, new windowsill at the floor level ripped on the edges and walls carrying marks all around. So, the result was new floor and another renovation ahead of me, to repaint skirting, windowsill and all walls. I did contact company immediately, hoping that some consensus will be reached but instead I was told that I’m wrong, damages were a part of the contract and it was my fault I didn’t read it carefully enough and was offered for someone to come back and wash it off for me. I’ve tried it myself and it wasn’t coming off.
I have asked a few companies for costing and HS Wood Flooring was the most expensive (40% more than the lowest price I got). I am sure that director of this company knows market price and it is totally obvious that having top level of pricing the company is obligated to deliver high level service.
It is also hard to understand the fact that director of this company says the damages are minimal as he has never shown up in my place.
Coming to an end, all my questions and suggestions were ignored and those resulted in technical mistakes and damages. I understand that due to the nature of the work, some minor damages can happen, but in my case, no protection was applied at all, even though I’ve asked and offered my private masking tapes. Cooperation with the company was very poor. I have already done several things to my place, I was working with some other companies and different people and sadly must say that this cooperation was absolutely the worst.
The only one thing that went smooth was my payment as both, deposit, and final payment, were done immediately.
Now I’m on a mission to find painter…

Amazing arrive, memo arrived promptly every day with a smile, he was a breath of fresh air during our renovation. Nothing was too much trouble and he worked around so many tradesmen without any problems and trust me it was a madhouse.
His attention to detail was incredible and we can’t thank him enough for transforming our flooring. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

We had a stone floor replaced in the kitchen/diner while the units stayed in situ. Not an easy or particularly nice job. Tim explained exactly what it would entail and priced worse-case scenario. It was largely carried out by Julio, who proved an amazing worker and extraordinarily considerate and nice to have around. (There was a week's wait for the wood, which was beyond their control.) We are really happy with the resulting floor (high quality), and the price came in 11% under quote. All-in-all a job well done. Thank you to HS.

HS wood flooring re-sanded our lovely basement pale solid-oak flooring back in 2017 after a plumbing accident stained it badly. The initial quote was fine and dealing with the office was all very pleasant and efficient. We had asked for the colour to stay the same or made slightly paler but there had been some total breakdown in communication between the company owner and his team of workmen. The job was carried out after Christmas and the workmen advised me to stay out of the basement until it was finished. They would not allow me down to see the work until it was completely finished. They did not even show me a patch test to ensure the colour was correct. They sanded everything and quickly covered it with an orange oil, thereby completely changing the look of my floor, and the entire room. When I saw the finished job I was simply devastated and in tears but was told by the workmen that “it will fade in time”. I asked them to urgently contact Tim (the company owner) to put this right as there had obviously been a total breakdown in communication, but was told by his workmen that he was in Australia on holiday and could not be contacted due to the time difference. Our floor remained totally orange and was unbearable to look at. I called the office and explained what had happened and they said they had nothing on their system specifying the colour that we had requested! So it literally was their word against ours despite me having before and after pictures to show the poor result. I let some time go by to see if it would fade, but it never did as it had been permanently stained orange with an oil that we did NOT request! I mean, who would ask for their pale oak floor to be re sanded and stained ORANGE?! Having now spent an entire lockdown having to put up with it I asked HS Wood flooring if they would come back to rectify it free of charge, as it had not faded at all, I provided again the before/after pictures to show they had not tinted the floor to the pale colour I had requested, and that I had obviously been told a lie at the time that it would fade. Tim asked me if I was joking?! This is a highly unprofessional company with poor customer service and no proper communication between what I, the customer requested, and what the workmen are instructed to do. I have since had to have the entire floor redone by a far more professional company (Treehouse Wood Flooring, Notting Hill) for an extra £1,600.
Avoid HS Wood Flooring.

HS Wood Flooring installed my hard wood flooring a few days ago and they did a fantastic job. They were quick with the quote and managed to book the installation in a manner that suited my needs. The end product is of very high standard and I would recommend the business to others without hesitation.

Happy to say the floor looks gorgeous and the fitter was extremely professional, skilled and listened to all my requests.

Excellent company, highly recommend if you want a fantastic job! We started with a misunderstanding but I am glad I commissioned my wood floor replacement to them. It was simply perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. After an extensive renovation, our builders had incorrectly stained the floor claiming that the finished that we were looking for was 'impossible' and no one could achieved it and that the products were inferior etc etc.
