5 Star review from me! Tumble dryer was delivered next day, I had never used Hughes before, I placed my order over the phone as the web site was down, the lady on the phone was excellent.

The only down side was trying to get in touch with the delivery team about a time slot via phone(not online), some people are savvy with today’s tech we are not, we are over 70 and the phone option should be made available to the elderly folk for that reason…

For my click and collect purchase i not only got text msg I also got a call to let me known it was ready. The staff in Hunstanton are very friendly and helpful.

It was very easy to find what I was looking for, and place my order online.

Ordered via website click and collect ,I received an automated answer telling me my order would be ready in an hour .however I then received a text telling me I had to wait for an additional text to inform me when I could collect the item .4 hours later ,i received another text telling me I could collect the item .and had to provide photo I.d. I should have just gone straight to the store and purchased the item in question .

Delivery men had no idea about how to handle a TV when out of box.they also went away with the stand and when phoned said the box was empty. However they must have looked again and found the stand so returning to my house. Very. Frustrating However bearing in mind that delivery was free , that I received a discount on the TV and that I am delighted with my Panasonic z90 ,I would buy from them again

Absolute disaster. Ordered a dryer direct on the website and a TV via Amazon, which happened to also be from Hughes. We’ve been moving house and of ALL the companies used to get absolutely anything for the house, this is the only one to fail. And they failed two out of two times.

The TV was scheduled for delivery on Saturday, March 21, 7am to 7pm delivery. At 5pm it was still marked on Amazon as not dispatched. Contacted Amazon customer service, who said they’d contact Hughes for it to be shipped asap. The next day, I get a text saying the TV will be re-delivered on March 28. At a similar time, I got a message from Hughes via Amazon saying they would reschedule. Assuming the March 28 date was a joke, I responded saying it needed to come March 23, or I’d cancel. They came back to confirm delivery for March 24.

The courier then texted saying they couldn’t deliver before March 28.

I cancelled on Amazon - Hughes then rejected the cancellation and afterwards finally decided to hand it to the distributor. Still no word on when it’s being delivered but plan to cancel and find elsewhere, even if more expensive.

The dryer was scheduled for Monday, March 23. On Monday we are told it will now come March 24. On March 24, we are told the soonest they can deliver is March 26.

Also looking at cancelling and purchasing elsewhere. Please save yourself the trouble and order from anywhere else.

Simple to deal with, good value and good delivery experience

Went online as oven had aged beyond repair. Found one i wanted and bought it. Collected from nearest store, staff very friendly and helpful.
