Literall thieves!! They offer you trial for 4€ but you cant cancel membership through site you must write them email but they dont reply to it now they sent me invoce to pay 50€, disgusting thieves!!! Expect a call from my lawyer

I created an account/subscription on Huizenpapa.nl on 12 May 2026. On the same day, within the 14-day withdrawal period, I sent them a cancellation/withdrawal request by email with the withdrawal form attached.

Despite this, I later received an invoice for €49.

What makes this even more concerning is that the company details feel unclear and confusing: the contact phone number shown is from California, the company/address details appear to be in Hong Kong, and the cancellation process depends on sending a withdrawal form. In my experience, this makes the process feel designed to make users stuck instead of making cancellation simple.

I find this very misleading. My cancellation/withdrawal was not respected, and I would advise others to be very careful before subscribing or entering payment details.

I have kept all proof, including the order confirmation, withdrawal email, withdrawal form, and invoice.

Please stay away from this site. I didn't sign up for a membership and they made me pay threatening me with legal arguments. Once I paid and requested for my account to be deleted altogether, I was completely ghosted. After several emails of me requesting the deletion of my account in the past few months, I am still getting email spams from them.

I am being called and repeatedly contacted by email, including now in January, demanding payment for a subscription I never used and never knowingly agreed to. I did not receive a proper confirmation email, and I never explicitly accepted a recurring paid subscription.
The website promotes a €4 / 14-day offer that converts into a €49/month subscription without clear and explicit consent. The pricing and payment obligation were not clearly presented before registration.
Despite this, my personal data has been used to initiate debt collection and to pressure me to pay for something I never used.
I have formally disputed the claim and requested proof of a valid contract, clear price disclosure, and confirmation of acceptance. Until such proof is provided, I consider this claim unjustified.
I am posting this review to warn other consumers to be extremely cautious.

Scam straight out of china

The company makes it super difficult to resign from their services. Even though when you do it in time, contact with them is no existent.

Report them as fraud to your card company, otherwise you won’t get rid of them.

I wrote them an email, filled out the cancellation form, but a month later I received no response. Today they sent me an invoice for 49.99 euros, which I will definitely not pay since it was not my fault... I wrote them an email again today, I called them a thousand times but they neither answer or pick up... a bunch of scammers, my lawyer will contact them

Bedrijf zit in China! Je wordt met een lokkertje binnen gehaald. Dat je voor 4 euro 14 dagen mag proefdraaien. En dat ik binnen 14 dagen mag opzeggen zonder verdere kosten. Binnen 14 dagen opgezegd via de mail en bevestiging ontvangen. Maar in mijn account staat vervolgens dat de 4 euro een aanbetaling was voor een lopend abonnement! Daarna via de mail gevraagd waarom het stopzetten niet in mijn account is terug te zien. Krijg vervolgens geen reactie terug. Een grote scam dus. Stelletje Chinese oplichters!

geen reactie op mails onmogelijk om lidmaatschap te stoppen. ze dwingen me nu 90 te betalen voor een site die ik nooit in me leven heb gebruikt.

Very (and I think, intentionally) unclear subscription terms, which immediately land you with a collection agency demanding payment for a subscription you did not know you had. I'm searching my inbox for mail from Huizenpapa that somehow would have alerted me to the subcription, but there is nothing until a sudden invoice for 49 euros for a 3 month membership that I did not use and was not aware I had.

Geld verdienen op appartementen die al een maand of langer niet meer beschikbaar zijn is erg treurig. Vooral in deze markt, waar mensen uit wanhoop maar overal abonnementen gaan afsluiten. Huizenpapa staat vol met appartementen die al lang niet meer beschikbaar zijn. Daarbij word je zodra je een betaald abonnent hebt, doorgestuurd naar de volgende site, waar je kan pas reageren op de woning.. je raadt het al, als je daar ook nog eens betaald hebt

Huizenpapa wordt gerund door een bedrijf uit Hong Kong. Op de website staat geen info over hoe je je abonnement moet beeindigen. Er staat alleen een telefoonnummer in Hong Kong. Trap hier niet in!

I took a free trial and canceled within 14 days only for them to send Omnicas (also scammers) to take my money. Then I wrote to them to ask what is this about and they claimed I didnt cancel properly. In my account it says my subscription was canceled on 31/01/1970 (yes you read that right) and under a status it says canceled while in other section it says active. Then it says it was purchased in september when I didnt even know about these idiots let alone use their service. They even had audacity to tell me in email that its actually still active and they canceled today..
I found many reviews of other people with same experience. If you have to deal with them just reposrt them to ACM, I did that too.

Let op met meubelzoeker / huizenpapa.nl! Het opzeggen van een abonnement tijdens de proefperiode wordt je onmogelijk gemaakt omdat ze per e-mail niet bereikbaar zijn. Het enige wat ze versturen zijn incasso's, maar er wordt geen antwoord gegeven op de mails en het herroepingsrecht.

De pagina hier op trustpilot is ook misleidend: de bedrijfsnaam lijkt te zijn aangepast naar Meubelzoeker, terwijl op deze pagina eigenlijk alle revieuws van huizenpapa.nl staan!

Door de recensies te lezen werd ik een beetje bang dus voor de zekerheid maar afgemeld zodat het niet te laat is .
Maar wat een gedoe zeg het afmelden GEWOON NIET AAN BEGINNEN !
En ik vond het ook sus want die brief kwa afzender stond er China

De site is een scam. Kast besteld en betaald maar nooit meer wat gehoord en dus ook niet geleverd. Trap hier niet in

Het is aanbevolen zoekopdrachten in te stellen bij huizenpapa zo ben je sneller op de hoogte. Woningen zijn snel weg. Website is betrouwbaar.

Triest dat Trustpilot al die 5sterren reviews niet controleert. Is allemaal onzin namelijk. Deze site linkt gewoon door naar andere betaalsites. En geven nu natuurlijk niet thuis, dus geld ben je mooi kwijt. Op hun site vind je een herroepingsformulier, ik adviseer om deze binnen 14 dagen in te vullen en op te sturen
