I purchased the 72" Synchron at Menards. Two sides of the box show the fan with a down rod and the other two boxes show it more like hugging. I expected that you could use it either way. The workman installed it hugging the ceiling since it didn't include a down rod. I called Hunter and they said I should have looked at Menards website. Why would I since I was in the store? Doesn't make any sense. So misleading and customer service, just not there. I did order the down rod for 100 including shipping and will have to pay another 200 to the workers to redo....Very disappointing
I bought a Hunter fan model 51156. It has a life time warranty on the motor. After a couple of years the motor bearings started making noise. There products have no serial numbers so they want date of purchase. I lost my receipt so they wouldn't do anything. I either want a new fan or just the motor or my money back. I will never recommend their products to anyone.

Ordered ~$250 in Hunter fan parts through Lowe’s with a confirmed delivery date. The order never shipped on time, and neither company could provide consistent or accurate information. Hunter says their warehouse in Tennessee was closed because of weather.
Hunter claimed Lowe’s was notified of delays but Lowe’s says that never happened. Multiple emails to both companies went unanswered and local Lowe's employees couldn't help. 0 customer support.
Because I relied on the promised delivery date, I scheduled a licensed electrician and lost time and may incur additional costs, which could have been avoided with communication, but the delivery date never changed and no notice was given. This wasn’t just a weather delay, it was a complete breakdown in communication and accountability from both companies.
Ordered on 1/27, still waiting on my package or some kind of communication....

The WORST customer service for an expensive home product.
Every room in our house has Casablanca fan, we paid almost 5+ times what you'd pay for an ordinary fan because of lifetime warranty they (claim to) offer.
If your fan has light issues, like ours did from 2018 then the warranty expires in 5 years. We now have no light in that room, which we relied on heavily and there's no way to replace the led light because it's integrated with the canopy.
Customer service couldn't provide any details on replacement instructions and basically said, "buy a new fan."
Terrible experience and would not recommend anyone to purchase Casablanca anymore.
I purchased a Fandelier that was advertised as being 23 inches in size. I even reviewed the specifications on the product page, but it did not give any greater detail of the size. When the Fandelier arrived, it was a massive 35 inches. It turns out the 23 inch description related to the diameter of the blades not the diameter of the Fandelier. Because it was a clearance item, I later learned that Hunter would not allow a return. Even though nothing was unwrapped or taken out of the box Hunter refused to accept a return. Interestingly the service person was sympathetic to the poor website description but would not acquiesce and I’m out $300. Also, on their webpage, and prominently displayed, is their promise for no hassle returns. I should note that they pointed out in very fine print in an obscure place on this webpage that the fan is 23 inches and the whole unit is 35 inches. Good luck finding that detail.Be very careful before you purchase anything from this organization.
I ordered 3 fans. My credit card authorization went through. I received email confirmation of the order that said I would be notified of shipping date. Their website doesn't work for order status, so I called after several days to find out shipping status. The customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. My order was mysteriously cancelled. The first person I talked to said they sometimes do that when the order amount is "too high". I bought 3 expensive items on sale that are now no longer on sale. I also spoke with the truly awful supervisor Stacy who blamed everything on "the system". She basically said it was a mystery why my order was cancelled by the system and that there was nobody who could explain it. What a big fat lie. Her solution was that I could reorder now but at the regular price. This is fraud. Flat out fraud.
If I could give their customer service 0 stars, I would. I ordered 10 fans from them and received a discount coupon from them when I signed into their website. I forgot to add it on the order but called afterwards and was told they would apply it. 2 months later and still nothing. Today I was told by their arrogant and condescending supervisor, Stacey, that the code couldn't be used because it was a clearance item although even today they have a discount on their website that states it includes clearance. I receive discount emails weekly so at the very least they could've added a discount as good faith. I'll never again buy fans from their company because of their customer service.
If I could give Hunter Fan’s customer service zero stars I would. There was an issue with my order so I called in immediately to cancel/change it. They said there was no possible way for them to change or cancel an order even though I just submitted it. So the only solution is to have them completely fulfill the shipment me then return it for free on their dime and then have them fix it in a re-order and re-ship it out. Such a ridiculous set up, not to mention, spending an hour on the phone waiting to hear that their customer service can literally do nothing.
I purchased the Hunter Ceiling Fan 52833 Aerodyne in Matte Black, and it’s been an utterly disappointing experience from start to finish. The fan itself is subpar—loud, wobbly, and feels cheaply made despite its premium price tag. The airflow is weak, barely cooling a small room, and the matte black finish started chipping within days, making it look tacky and worn out.
The Wi-Fi functionality and app are an absolute joke. The app is glitchy, crashes constantly, and fails to connect to the fan 90% of the time. When it does connect, the controls are unresponsive, and the fan randomly disconnects from Wi-Fi, rendering the “smart” features useless. Setting it up was a nightmare, with vague instructions and no troubleshooting support in the manual.
As for Hunter’s customer service, it’s hands-down the worst I’ve ever encountered. I spent hours on hold, only to be met with rude, dismissive representatives who offered no solutions. They refused to acknowledge the fan’s defects or the app’s issues, blaming my home Wi-Fi instead. When I requested a replacement or refund, they stonewalled me with endless paperwork and unfulfilled promises. Emails went unanswered for weeks, and when they did respond, it was generic, scripted nonsense.
Save your money and avoid this fan at all costs. Hunter’s shoddy product and deplorable customer service make this a purchase I deeply regret.
Ordered a fan, or so I thought. I never received a confirmation email. I sent them an email with confirmation # I wrote down when I placed order. Their email response was we'll get to you when we can. I checked my VISA and charge was submitted. I went to their site to track order. Order does not exist. I've now been on hold 20 minutes and still no one has answered.
Be sure you don't make any mistakes on your order because canceling it even within a few minutes is impossible.
Also, don't expect replies to their customercare (at) hunterfan.com email address. Call them directly.
I made a mistake measuring our rooms for new fans. I placed an $800 order and quickly realized my mistake. My order confirmation email contained only the Customer care email address as a way to contact them, so that's what I did. Only after 24 hours with no response did I find their phone # on their website.
I was too late. The order had already been shipped. This is the first time I was unhappy about prompt shipping. :-\
