I recently did a 2 day SIA door supervisor refresher course & first aid course with a HURAK at Crown house 60 north Circular road, NW10 7PN).

Where do I even begin?

1 - I booked and paid over the phone and was told that I will receive instructions/login details for a home study course which is 3 hours long. Despite me calling 3 times I never received the details.

2- Our classroom was really small for 17 people and I am glad it wasn't summer since there was no ventilation whatsoever. On top of that there was chairs and tables, stationary as well as desks with full PC setup, like it was someone's office that was made to be a training venue.

3- Our instructor was least helpful and very impatient to say the least. There was quite a few forms without any instructions to how and when to fill them and what they are for.

4 - Although course is advertised as 2 days but be prepared to stay there for as long as 12 hours. Our first day was 10 hours long and second one was almost 12 hours.

5 - College venue was literally nowhere near any markets or shops/take aways, if you wanted to grab something to eat then nearest place is 30 minutes walk, so 1 hour break is just to and from shops without any time to sit, relax and eat your lunch.

6 - We were given First Aid notes at the end of our first day when we were halfway through the course.

7 - No prior instructions or guidance that we need to complete our ACT course prior to sitting exam so most of us had to do on the day of our course, felt pretty rushed.

I would definitely not recommend them at all, they only care about money.

I booked my sia top up course with them recently. Arrived at the venue mentioned in the email before time. After figuring it out myself and calling the hurak office again and again, came to know that some other company by the name of Global security deals with their courses.
After an hour of hustle, finally I found someone to speak to about the course and came to know that no top up course is running at the moment and I have been given wrong information. They don't run any top up courses during week days, it's only conducted over the weekends.
I called Hurak office again and was given wrong information that the course got cancelled last minute which they were not even aware off.
I called a few times and every time they came up with a new story.
I have asked for the refund now, will wait and see what's going to happen.
I still don't understand the reason behind all this lies and misinformation.
I will not recommend this company to anyone.
At the time of booking my payment showed pending for which they called me every day till it got cleared but about the course they were not bothered to call or email me.
