Deniz Ekdial where do I start. From taking on the case for our house to the end there is no other words to describe him but perfect. Quick responses from anything we asked to the dumbest questions as first time buyers he handled the case with the upmost professionalism and he made us feel at ease the whole time. From the works required he was quick and thorough and had everything completed within weeks on his side of the whole house sale.
If i was to have anyone do any work for me Legal wise it would be Deniz again!!! If we are to buy another house I would use him again without a doubt.
And i would recommend Deniz Ekdial to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a house!!!

We instructed Hutchins Law to complete the purchase of our first property, the experience was positive. Jasmine communicated transparently and with urgently at crucial times. We have now completed the process and are in our first home! Unfortunately, my experience with this firm depended entirely on the solicitor handling the case. My first solicitor was extremely slow and had to be constantly chased just to send documentation and move things forward. Several emails went unanswered, and at times he ignored my instructions and made decisions independently, which caused unnecessary delays. He then abruptly left the firm, and I wasn’t even informed—I only found out when I called to ask why I hadn’t received any updates.

Thankfully, Salem was later assigned to my case, and he was outstanding. His communication was prompt, he was proactive, and he kept me well-informed throughout. He handled everything professionally and ensured my property transaction was completed swiftly.

If I could rate him alone, I would give 5 stars. However, my overall rating reflects the inconsistency in service across the firm. If you do choose to use Hutchins, I would strongly recommend requesting Salem if you want a smooth and well-managed experience with someone who genuinely cares about their clients.

Almost 2 years after completing a property purchase with Hutchins, they emailed to say I owe them money. I checked my past payments and realised I had actually paid them the correct amount. In fact, I may have overpaid them as they added a fee that I am not sure whether I should've paid. They have ignored all my emails since!

In addition, while processing my property purchase, the seller owed me some money. I asked whether Hutchins could follow up with this and they didn't update me.

Very poor communication.

Ivory Jimmy at the firm has now helped me purchase a property on two occasions and I have been very happy with the service she provided. I would certainly use her and the company again and can highly recommend Hutchins Law. I had never used a remote solicitor before but the whole experience was cheaper and very effective.

I had a great experience working with Amir. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel much more manageable.

Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was reassuring to know everything was in safe hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Christopher Braithwaite to anyone looking for a reliable and proactive conveyancing solicitor.

We used Hutchins Law for the purchase of our first property and received a great, efficient service from Jasmine throughout.

Our purchase was delayed for a number of reasons and took nearly six months to complete. This was entirely outside Jasmine’s control, yet she remained attentive at all times and always responded promptly, whether by email or phone when needed.

The service was well priced, with no increase in costs, even though the enquiries from our side were extensive.

We must say that Jasmine was an absolute pleasure to deal with at every stage of the process. Her professionalism, patience and efficiency made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier for us.

We wish Jasmine every success in her career and would not hesitate to recommend Hutchins Law.

I used Hutchins Law for a flat purchase. The whole experience was more stressful than it should have been because of their poor planning, poor communication and lack of urgency. Communication was always polite, but often uninformative: for instance, I was not told that searches had been received, nor copied in on replies to queries. Some of the queries raised appeared unnecessary and were in keeping with the whole sense that the paralegal handling the case was acting to cover the firm's back rather than acting on my behalf as the customer. There were errors in relation to information supplied eg. getting the date of my mother's death wrong and asking for bank statements from 14 years ago. Additional information relating to anti-money laundering was not requested until many weeks after I had completed all the forms and questionnaires I was sent (twice over - by email and on a secure platform). The sale went through largely because the estate agent involved was helpful, informative and proactive as a go-between, in the way that a conveyancer might ideally be. My conveyancer would not give me the account details to transfer the money until the afternoon on the day before exchange and completion. The transfer missed the bank's deadline for same day payment, so the final day (the deadline set by the seller) was immensely stressful waiting to see if the money would come through on time. Much of the stress was avoidable. The final bill was £200 more than quoted - not a big deal but not great given the level of service.

I was apprehensive about using remote service for my purchase. However received a first class service. Couldn't have been bettered if it was face to face. Make the process fairly painless. Would be recommending Hutchins. Hopefully their other agents are as good as mine was.

Made it super clear we had 8 weeks left of our tenancy, and here we are with keys in hand thanks to a motivated seller and no chain of course! Salem answered emails generally pretty quick, was polite, and helpful. Our last solicitor should be ashamed of themselves, this is how Conveyancing Should be done....
