APPALING!!!! ICTS Provide security for staff working…

ICTS Provide security for staff working at London Heathrow Airport to access airside areas.
This company and the majority (not all) of its staff are not fit for purpose.
Their processes and procedures can only be described at best as appaling.
Most staff speak very little English so this can be an issue when trying to communicate effectively. Each time you pass through the security post, they quote different rules and regulations from 2 hours previously. Their Supervisor grades spend most time looking at their phones instead of concentrating and observing what is going on around them and in the area they are supposed to manage.
Long queues are often a problem.
Certain items that should require additional checks passed through the scanner without being questioned by the security operative
ICTS Have been scored 1 but would have scored lower if it were possible

I'm depressed because of management

>Arrogant management
>Difficult get a shift swap/holidays from specific managers.
>No job security
>Minimum wage
>Slavery
>worst uniform
>Too much work load compared to similar roles in other companies.
>Bad infrastructure
>Lack of Communication
>Management acting always bossy.
>No Flexibility
>Micromanagement
>Managers may not provide adequate support or guidance, especially during challenging situations.
>Too much Favoritism
>Lack of Recognition: Always recognize someone random for a small good thing but never for the ones that actually work hard all the time.
>No Career Progression
>Lack of Training for Managers: They just give you a handbook but no SME or manager to help you in any kind of situation. eventually you need to reach out to your fellow colleague for support.

Incident: Change the Area manager as I'm feeling suicidal because of her. I see my issue to be sorted in few minutes but it's been 24 hours and manager hasn't replied to my email and when i ask her, she says I'm unable to make decision. If she's unable to make decision why does she wants to be manager? Get us someone that can make a decision.

Issue: I have request for a shift swap with a colleague and he has agreed to swap with me. It is very simple to sort it out but she has made it very difficult for me. I know she is doing that on purpose for no reason. I don't understand why do people love to put someone in a difficult situation for no reason. I am in tension because of her. I'm already going through a lot but she still doesn't want to resolve my issue, on purpose delaying it and she might eventually deny it as that's what she does.

Do not work as a security agent for this company. Any one on management is useless. DM thinks he is so special - no idea what he is doing. I lasted over ten months. Very unprofessional company. No respect. Often too few sraff to do the job.i am still fighting to get paid for the 12 September that they said I was off? Not always do you get paid if you do some extra hours. I can do better.

Icts are a liability

Went to Bristol Airport, icts staff were a joke, rude,aggressive, unprofessional, unskilled, unorganised chaos.
I put my tray of belongings/valuables through, and when I went to claim it, my stuff was gone, no staff knew where it was ,then to be told they put trays over the overside left unattended. Absolutely disgusting- a great start to ruin your holiday- complained to the supervisor, waste of time, ..will be informing the DFT and CAA.
Myself I was an xray screener for cargo goods, and understand the importance of saftey - remember your sat directly above the bags they dont bother to xray/screen.

Corrupt management

If I could give a lower score I would
Do not employ those services or work for this company
Dreadful experience sheer lack of thought for staff and dogs doing the job on the ground floor
Management if you can call them that are corrupt, most have been investigated and dismissed or asked to resign due to corruption and or misconduct.

Worse experience for working at Heathrow airport through ICTS very unorganised

My expectation for this company went really wrong. I never thought this company will do such a terrible things to the agents who applied to come and work at Heathrow airport. Especially the CP is worse and Agents are treated as 🫏 Donkeys.

Planners don't have a clue what they're doing and they are rude and the management's are very rude and don't even care about the staffs who works for them. They hire many people and trained them like stupids and make everyone work for them stupidly.

Came through Glasgow airport and one of the staff on the screening was so aggressive with us, it was bearing on being rude. Kumar clearly didn’t want to be there. Quote” Get your liquids and iPads out and do it now”

I was actually embarrassed for him as everyone was looking at him..

His job description claims that” Accountable for delivering the highest possible standard of customer service, whilst meeting all regulatory requirements.”

Not really a way to speak to your customers..

Ignore working in this Company

The Management is basically majority from India no background of managing the organization very rude, abusive and racist towards the employers. When something needs to be achieved the staff are used when its not done staff are fired and asked to leave the Company. The HR employs their own known people with good pay and raised salary. Would never recommend anyone to join this Company, as there is no long term scope working.

The job itself allows you to take key skills and appreciate service staff. Its a shame the management are incapable of doing their jobs properly and professionally. Its unfortunate, but it is a if you do me favour (unprofessional & unethical) they will care. The HR department which is one woman who again is unable to tell the difference between what her job is and how to do it. Emails Are not answered very often, you could be the best worker and will not get any appreciation.

The hours are dishonest from the interviewer - as it states in the earnings. Summer time is good. Do your self a favour and do the shift pattern 4 on 4 off. 6 on 3 off will give the tax (wo)man a happy day. There are no real staff benefits, and please becaureful with your state pension. This company have managed to cheat the system by picking the cheapest and most unreliable company (peoples pension ).

once your designated shift is over you are on time and a half
perimeter roles ( go if you can) 12 hour shift 4 on 4 off

holidays can get rejected with no reason or warning

Awful Trainers that will be little to no use and not teach you practicality for when you finish training.

Unprofessional, uneducated / untrained well staff, management don't deal with complaints well, all gets coverd under the carpet for their own staff, which is really shameful for the name / brand of the company 🤮 Heathrow should use other security company or do a serious check on this useless staff & managements to maintain high quality customer service & top security service for Heathrow staff & passengers.
Specially on control posts like 24 & other staff gates..... 🤮 ❌ 👎 ❌ 👎

Mangers are rude at heathrow terminals

I work for Heathrow terminal I have had a very bad experience in this company ,The manager there are very rude and harass me a lot . I have complained several times to the HR , no action has been taken.

An awful company
Abusive and harassing management
Lying bunch of people, toxic work place
Absolute zero professionalism
A terrible dog eat dog environment and i worked with a very racist angry supervisor
They do not care about you they have zero value for human dignity

Avoid them like a plague unless the above describes your very own character

ICTS Heathrow Airport

Had an awful experience with ICTS at security at Heathrow. The employees, Sebby and Ruby (working at arrivals security, 6.30pm August 19 2023) were so rude they made my ten year old daughter cry. When I complained and asked to speak to the manager they tried to take our passports from us (despite the fact we had cleared security) to prevent us from claiming our baggage. Fellow passengers were horrified at our treatment and when they intervened on our behalf they were told they would also be prevented from collecting their bags.
The team was aggressive, rude and unprofessional. A terrible reflection on the company they work for and Heathrow Airport.

Total lack of courtesy

We flew out of Bristol airport on 05/08/23. ICTS seem to have the contract for security. I appreciate that it's a tough job, but their attitude was simply awful - no common courtesy, not a please or a thankyou to be heard. One fairly senior guy managing the body scanner barked, "you got metal on you!" in response to an enquiry. They don't give names to raise a complaint with, thus seem unaccountable for any actions. On both counts (body and personal effects) they were simply plain wrong - but there was no acknowledgement or apology for this, even though I was kept waiting for half an hour. Very authoritarian overall and not worthy imo of being granted the contract.

DFT needs to be made aware

Terrible company to work for, work place harassment, bullying, breaking of CAA/DFT guidelines, supervisors on HBS at airports inept can't tell the difference between fishing rods and firearms so they get cleared at London Gatwick Airport South Terminal.

Trainers taking yearly NXCT exams for inept screeners etc.

Supervisors clear screened bags yet never looked at the images on screen, too busy watching tablets/mobile phones.

Have no idea how this company can get away with it, let alone keep their contracts etc.

They talk to talk to get contracts, when they have them..they walk off and you don't see them!! No staff, awful management that don't have a clue how to do the job or how to treat staff. no sick pay, basic annual leave, always messing up pay. so glad i got out and now have a great job with great benefits and a boss that actually appreciates me and the team.
