STAY AWAY .... terrible

Sure they have cute shoes .... but save your sanity and step away. This company is TERRIBLE. I ordered shoes in April as they showed as being in stock, days later I was told they were on backorder and that they would be available in early June.
Late May comes around and they tell me my shoes have shipped, as a couple weeks go by I then reach out trying to learn what happened and .... oops, they made another mistake and now the shoes won't arrive until July.
Late June they send a link to review the product. The one that I did not yet receive. After reaching out AGAIN, I learned that was another mistake and they would ship them mid July.
The promised shipping day came and went, no shipping notification or an communication. I again reached out and oops .... they made a mistake and hadn't notified me of shipping info. Fingers crossed they shoes actually arrive, and are decent.
Along the way there were lots of empty apologies, a scolding for ordering via FB even though they have that option, and the empty promise of let us know if there is anything we can do. I asked for quick shipping and that they post my poor review that they hid. Crickets.

They won't change, they do not want to. They have a terrible return policy as many will point out, and they apparently cannot figure out basic online retail.

If you don't mind mediocre shoes, babysitting your order, and a condescending approach to inquiries on basics that they should be doing, order away.

Just a dreadful company that if they wanted, could fix things. But they don't care. Once you give money they will do as they please.

I'm so disappointed

I'm so disappointed. I bought these shoes as a gift for myself for my birthday, I was so excited to finally have cute footwear. They are agony on my feet. I have been doing my best to wear them in, even put insoles in them so they would be more bearable, but the cute little fabric on the back is rubbing the skin off my foot. They are so obscenely uncomfortable. Not worth the purchase at all.

I just got my shoes today and I absolutely love them although I wish the shoelaces were not gray. It’s such a pretty shoe to have a gray shoelace. I’m just gonna replace them with some hot pink ones and they’ll be perfect. My doctor ordered me to get some art support shoes, but I didn’t see anything that I like so I’m just gonna put the inserts in these and they fit fine and they fit true to size. I had no problems with the company. I was a little freaked out cause it took him a while to get here and he said you only get one shot at this. If you did one return you couldn’t do another one so but they got here and I love them!

Refund process is awful

I requested a return for unworn shoes. It was a two-day process to get the return "approved" even though the shoes were still in their original packaging. Once approved, I sent the boots back the same day and paid for shipping. It wasn't until 15 days later that I sent an email checking in, at which point they confirmed the shoes were received and said they now need to be "processed." Once that is complete, they suggested the refund will take 10 days. That was two days ago and still waiting on that step to begin. So now it's been almost a month and still no refund. This is ridiculous. What a stupid customer service experience. Do not recommend -- the shoes are cute but no purchase is worth this friction.

I had a problem with my backpack strap…

I had a problem with my backpack strap coming apart. I emailed them and within a couple hours I got an email back apologizing and saying they are sending me a new one. I love the boots I bought and I can say the customer service is great!

Painful to wear…

Very cute but the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever tried. The sneakers are too narrow for my narrow feet and there is no padding in the sole. I tried limiting the time I wear them to 4 hours but the pain for the next few days is not worth it. They say you can return them but I can't get customer service to respond.

Poor customer service

Quick shipment. Terrible customer service! Return policy a hack. Never respond to emails or phone calls. Product ok. Beware! I won’t buy from them or recommend. After 2weeks I still have item and no response.

Customer service sends you in circles

I've purchased a few pairs of shoes from Inkkas. They're cute and mostly comfortable (the joggers are a bit too narrow). However, they don't last as long as I would hope. I've owned my slip-ons for a little over a year, and they're starting to fall apart. On 12/7/24, I received a marketing email from Inkkas Support with one final opportunity to use the Cyber Monday sale code in conjunction with a Free Shipping code for one day only. Given that you have to spend over $175 to get free shipping, I thought this was a great deal. However, when I tried to use the codes, they did not work. I responded to the email and received something vague 2 days later about how they can retroactively apply the codes to my order and that it would take 10 business days for the refund to go through. Except, I didn't submit an order. I tried to contact support using the chat function on the site, and that person was thoroughly incompetent. They frequently back tracked on what they said ("please disregard the prior message"), sent me a return form (again, I didn't submit a purchase), and insisted I would have to email support because contacting support through chat is only for "pre-purchase questions" and that I'd have to email to reach the "front end." Far too many hoops, too much confusion on their end, and very poor customer service across the board. They've lost my business. I'm now trying to figure out how to cancel an order made prior to this incident, and it looks like I'll have to go through their email support for that since they have no options to do that on the website.

serious dip in quality

These shoes used to be great but have gone seriously down in quality and the customer service is wild. I had six pairs of these shoes, but the most recent pair was severely decreased in quality. They were damaged and in terrible shape.

While customer service does their best, the song and dance I had to go through to get any sort of recompense (two different sets of shoes, both with the same issue) was wild.

I had given this one star but will update to five. Finally a rep got back to me and they are shipping out replacements. It took a week of email back and forth but finally!!! I still give only 3 stars because of the 30 emails se t begirw a reply

They give you seven days to request a return or a refund. I received my shoes and they were too large. Tried to contact customer service day after day after day and never got a response or an email back so now I’m just going to have to dispute with my credit card company and then maybe they’ll respond. I am putting this warning out to all people that the customer service is horrendous and forget, returning the shoes for either credit or a refund.

Returns are a hassle. Still waiting...

I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers from Inkkas on 2/4/24. Received about 2 weeks later. Too small. They don’t offer half sizes, so I read through reviews which suggested going a size UP as they ran small. The shoes were too tight. Love the style, and should be comfy, but I need a bigger size. Reached out for return - which had to be REQUESTED & APPROVED before you get a return label (and they only offer credit to exchange). Once approved, I promptly packed and shipped my return. 2/28 at 10am it was delivered and signed for. Today, 3/4, there is still no word from them. I’ve emailed twice. Hoping to get replacement shoes before summer. This is a bummer. Too many hoops to jump through with this company.

Approximately one month ago I purchased the Spirit Bear Runner V.2 and love the art work, fit and quality. The customer service was excellent. Genesis answered my emails the next day. The item was easy to track. The exchange for a new size was seamless, including free shipping. You do have to wait a while for delivery.

Their return policy is a scam

Their return policy is a scam. They say free returns but you have to “request” a return. I’ve contacted them four times now and they don’t respond. I tried via Instagram and their dm person told me to email I DID. Then my comment on their post was deleted. RUN!

I LOVE this brand

I LOVE my Inkkas. Beautiful designs, unlike any others I've seen, and they are very comfortable. I was drawn to them a few years ago because of their 1 shoe 1 tree program, but I keep purchasing because I just love their look and comfort. I have a pair of Joggers, Slip ons, and Camping boots. I plan to get the Runners this year. I recently got my nephew a pair of the Kids Slip ons and they are his favorite. I've seen the various reviews, but my experiences have only been positive. Can't recommend this brand enough!
