InstaFile Is A One Big Scam.
I paid $35 to reclaim my lost laptop in the Paris Degualle Airport, France. They never got back to me. The brought another scam company to collect another money from me. This happened in July 2022.

As with others I received one email back from them then nothing.
Tried to complain but their 'admin' email address pasted throughout their T & C's doesn't exist.
Please Avoid using them.

I lost my Ebook reader on my flight to Muskat. After paying instafilereporting.com 39,99$ to get it back, I never heard from them again.
Contacting the airline directly resulted at last in an answer by mail.

When I left my jacket at TSA at the Austin TX airport on January 28, I rushed to notify TSA, googling “TSA Lost and Found.” I clicked on the first option that came up – InstaFile, Lost Property Reporting. I filled out their form and gave them my credit card and was immediately charged $39.99, which I presumed covered shipping my lost property when/if it was found. Two days later I got a call from a TSA employee in Austin, saying someone from InstaFile had contacted him about my jacket and, once he confirmed the jacket was at TSA, asked the TSA employee to contact me and make arrangements to return it to me. Then the TSA employee asked about InstaFile and why it was involved, explaining that TSA has its own Lost and Found Service, which is free, but for the mailing charge. Because InstaFile popped up first I was directed there, charged $39.99, then paid for shipping to return my jacket in addition. InstaFile charged $39.99 to do what TSA would have done for free!

Fake company. Sends you 1 email then does not reply. Do not fall for this scam like I did

Waste of money. The company is totally useless. A part form sending me some delayed emails with information I knew already the did absolutely nothing. It is also impressive if you look at the reviews on their site they are all amazing, BUT you cannot write a review yourself.
Rubbish. Luckily I found my laptop myself in the end, but company like this one should really not exist on the web. Exploiting the many people have accidentally lost their belongings is simply outrageous.

Difficult to say what went wrong as Instafile did not do anything at all.
They claim to have contacted Madrid Airport with details of my lost iPad, Madrid Airport has 4 Lost and Found offices, and non have ever heard from Instafile about my iPad.
A complete and total waste of money.
I have managed to track my iPad down to the correct lost property office and hope to have it returned soon.

Scam. They appear first in the Google search list because they pay for advertising, but it's a scam. They have nothing to do with the real airport lost and found service.

They mimic the actual airport lost and found reporting service, implying services that were not rendered in my case. DO NOT USE. The actual airport lost and found does NOT charge for submissions.

Avoid them. They are scammer. Just contact your airport directly.

They did absolutely nothing. Took the money, and filed me ta report. Afterward I found out that I never needed to use this company and pay money, because it is free to report to lost and found at usually every airport, including Copenhagen airport.

Shame that they are allowed to continue.

I wish i could give a single star. Utterly useless company. They’re set up to hit lost and found search results so that it seems like you’re filing a claim with the airport itself, and once they have your money they do absolutely nothing other than send a confirmation email.

I paid 40 USD and all they did was write an email to Barcelona Airport. When the property was found, I asked Instafile to ship it to me, but they didn’t respond, so I paid UPS to get it instead.

A hoax. Do not use them but contact the airport yourself.

Scam. They do not have any links to any lost and found office. This is a bogus company who makes money from peoples misery.

Scammers, pay Google to get their Lost and Found first on the list. Type Miami Lost and Found and who should appear first? Guess? You give them all the information that can truly be entered for free at the Real Miami Lost and found, pay them $34.99 for what I thought would be used for return shipping but no this is just the fee for transferring/auto-populating your info to the Real Lost and Found. The Real Lost and Found still charge you an arm and a leg to ship your item and claim to know nothing about the Instafilereporting and their $34.99 fee. Google.com should also be ashamed to profit from these scammers.

Absolutely a scam! However, I did get some of my money back, when I asked if they are a hoax. One star is one too many...

Fraud. They do nothing. They even didn't contact the airport.

I was Informed by Swissport that this is not their official website for lost/found and it should not be trusted. They recommended me to cancel my credit card in case of fraud

In April, I lost my handbag after my flight landed from Malaga to Stockholm(Arlanda) in Arlanda airport. I am writing this email because of the inconsistency and irresponsibility of your company. Unfortunately you made me to bye a round ticket for my assistant to come to Arlanda Airport and he found my handbag in there!!! The same airport where I lost it! Your team even didn't check the "Lost and Found" office of the same airport that I had mentioned in my profile! How did you want to find my property when you even don't try to look for it?????

When it comes to taking money from people who have lost their property you act so responsible and try to convince them to pay that crazy amount, but when it comes to be responsible and helpful you just pass people to each other! You made me to sign up in missingX website and make a profile and pay 30 US Dollars and then afterward I was checking my profile everyday and nothing happened... If it is not robbery so what is it????
I lost my handbag in Arlanda airport and even though I emphasized that my handbag was lost there your team did not refer to the lost and found office of Arlanda, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I bought a round ticket for my assistant and send him from Copenhagen to Stockholm (Arlanda) and he found my handbag there!
Now, not only I expect you to refund that 30 dollars to me, but also you are supposed to refund the ticket amount I have bought to find my handbag MYSELF! I report this to the airport as well to be aware of the responsibility of the company who is collaborating with them!
