Fiona Macrae
After Fiona Macrae, Insurancewith’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she found it almost impossible to get affordable travel insurance. Like anyone else, she was looking forward to a holiday, but sensibly-priced cover seemed out of reach.
Insurancewith was created to help people with all kinds of conditions – including cancer, mental health, epilepsy, and many disabilities – get the most suitable cover for your personal needs at a price to suit your budget.

Complexity of medical screening
I don't really like the need to have a medical screening every year, i.e. if nothing has changed! However this time there were changes. We had a call back to discuss these changes and within the alloted time. Ver few answers are black and white and open to different interpretations. It takes quite a while to navigate through these! However, there is a greater willingness to listen to cogent/measured discussions than in the past, hence 5 stars.

Im rather disappointed with the refusal…
Im rather disappointed with the refusal to pay my claim. If it had been very clear from the outset,that it wasnt intended for people with cancer related illnesses, but Covid 19 cover, I would have thought twice. I was admitted into hospital with bowel condition 4 days before my dream trip to USA, and was advised not to travel for fear of being ill with a debilitating condition. Too good to be true.
