You supported me from the beginning of the process to the end of the camp, this made my experience more valuable and I encourage anyone in search for the same opportunity to not hesitate but to apply for the most rewarding cultural exchange opportunity with Interexchange🤩

Everything is easy, and every worker there is really helpful, the communication with the camp was also so easy, I hope I can apply as a returner next summer

The reality is that many host families view au pairs less as participants in a cultural exchange and more as inexpensive childcare. They often arrive with unrealistic expectations, and even when you give your full effort, they will focus on the one task you missed or the one thing you forgot, blowing it out of proportion.

The exploitation some au pairs endure under the guise of “cultural exchange” is alarming. While living in a new country can be an incredible experience, no one should have to sacrifice fair treatment, respect, and mental well-being to do so.

Living in another country should be a beautiful experience not one where you’re treated like disposable labor. The way au pairs are used, drained, and dismissed is disgraceful, and it’s about time people stop pretending it’s all sunshine and happy family photos.

I am writing on behalf of my daughter who has been to camp for the last two years. We cannot fault the support and the organisation of the programme. However O has not been able to return to camp this year for fear of having a record of a medical bill still being unpaid. Two representatives of InterExchange have worked tirelessly for O but nearly a year on there is still no closure with her medical claims and her excess due to be paid. As a family we are at a total loss of what to do and O is now petrified of returning to the USA alone as she is so fearful of being stopped at immigration. It also has had an impact on getting insurance for her holiday as we have to declare that there is a claim in progress. I would really like some help and support. As a single mum trying to support her daughter, we feel so helpless.

I started using InterExchange for my CampUSA application at first it started smoothly, then all of a sudden I struggled to get hold of anyone for almost two weeks at the company. Switched to Camp Leaders and they sorted all my problems within a day.

The camp was an amazing experience for me and the people there were very friendly and welcoming. The program was very helpful and informative to me in every step of the process. I have made really good friends and the job was everything that I had wanted it to be.

Don't get carried away by what the employer says and start listening to employees (speaking specifically of counselors). Speaking specifically of summit camp, the work positions is too much and the difference between being a counselor and a being a specialist is huge. A counselor only rests half an hour per day and a specialist rests about an hour and a half. They should provide equal opportunities.

great opportunity for career development especially if you are in the helping profession. I have achieved most of my objectives, make positive change in my campers life, meet people across the globe and build lifetime friendship.

It was a fun experience, but also kinda intriguing and challenging. It really made me think in a new way, and I found out I had some skills I didn’t even know about.

I consider it was an incredible experince for me. I knew a lot of good people and I grew as person.

InterExchange was a great help this summer, ther took care of me and my friends that I met at the camp, it was a freat cultural and learning experience

The company is always taking care of us, and also help us in everything we need.

It was great because they really helped me finding camps that were good for me.
