The experience of traveling was amazing, to have the opportunity to know other places and to know other people and cultures is the best I did

I had a pleasure to work in a life skills camp which gave me an opportunity to have an impact in someone’s life and also to grow as a professional. I have learned a lot about the American culture and gained valuable skills that would beneficial at home. Thank you Interexchange for the amazing experience.

I like the experience with the kids from other countries and lenguages

They did not help at all when I needed. They did not inform about I would sleep with campers in the same cabin, nor I would not be fairly paid since I was doing the job of a carer for people with special needs instead of a counselor and that they was getting a huge percentage of the salary I was given by the camp. Plus, when I asked for changing my camp after knowing these circumstances, they said I just had the option of quitting and waiting for 14 days to be chosen by another camp, with no guarantees of this could happen and with no responsabilities or assistance regarding my hosting in the middle of USA, a country completely different from where I come from.

The support from interexchange was outstanding.
They help me every step of the way.
They vist us on camp which make us feel special.
