It's to bad the company Iam with only uses Vanguard. I have monthly amounts put in two vanguard accounts. and still haven't recouped what I had in the same two accounts since December 2020.Very Poor Performance.

Dealing with Vanguard on the transfer of my IRA to another money manager has been a fiasco. And their mishandling of the process is probably costing me a lot of money. Its has been a horrible experience. For a company this size and supposed stature, what has occurred is outrageous in my view
Chuffed to bits
I've been a client of Vanguard for quite a few years with no complaints at all. Everything works away in the background and I'm very pleased with how my investments have performed.
Yesterday, I had to telephone Vanguard to do something I haven't done before. I've never had to call Vanguard before, so this was a new experience for me. I'm not the most tech savvy of people and didn't know what to do. After a very short wait on the phone, I spoke to Lauren and she was brilliant. She knew what I wanted to do and explained everything calmly and clearly. I have an old tablet and it was performing very slowly, which was frustrating. Lauren had the patience of a saint. I can only imagine how frustrating someone like me is when it comes to helping with online activity. But she did her very best to help me and we finally wrapped everything up perfectly. This was a very good experience for me and I'm chuffed to bits.

Just recently set up an ETF and i had queries regarding whether it was the correct Fund etc.
Had a fair few questions and it was easier to ring then try to put into an email. Took a while to get through but once I got through spoke to a person named Cameron and he was spot on.
He went through the various ways o check things and answered all of my queries in an easy to understand manner. Ended the call with all the information i needed to make the most appropriate choice for me.

My wife has made several attempts to close her ISA and claim back the value of the funds. Vanguard seems to be either nonchalant or obstructive in making the refund. To add insult to injury they have today taken via a direct debit £ 2000 to make my bank account overdrawn . The direct debit had been cancelled 2 months previously. Our experience, poor performance in every respect and would not recommend.
Avoid Vanguard at all cost
Avoid Vanguard at all cost. I wanted to transfer my IRA accounts from the old to the new IRA account system so I would not continue to be charged a $20 monthly fee. The phone system is set up to make it very difficult for a customer to reach a live agent and actually get the agent to transfer my IRA accounts to the new, no fee account. I had to provide the same info , ss#, zip, etc repeatedly and the agent then asked an insane number of questions and then said she couldn't transfer the IRA. She said I had to talk with another agent. She couldn't transfer me so I had to start all over calling a different number with another agent. 42 minutes later the new agent dropped the call.
I just completed transferring all funds out of my Vanguard IRA accounts and all of my other Vanguard accounts to another investment company. It only took about 20 minutes. Vanguard has a hell of a nerve to treat customers this badly. Avoid Vanguard at all cost.

You can't even add a bank account through their website and the representative had me on the phone for an hour and twenty minutes with no success, unbelievable!
Try taking your money out......
Poor investments performance comparatively is bad enough, leading to my opening a new SIPP elsewhere, transferring a much larger SIPP from LV in less than half the time Vanguard took after chasing on several occasions. Now, closing an ISA has led to 3 weeks plus delays and stalling whenever they can to get our money out of them. It's your CUSTOMERS money Vanguard, not yours - so as a business you need to follow others and process cash withdrawals promptly. Website says - 'When you withdraw cash it can take up to 5 business days to be paid to your bank account' - hardly.....! Financial Ombudsman standing by....as is a nod to Which?

Vanguard - Worst Customer Service Ever
Called morning of April 25. Followed all the prompts to talk to someone about a withdrawal. Agent said she couldn't help me and would transfer me to someone who could. On hold for about 45 minutes. Finally had to terminate call as I had to go out.
Called afternoon of April 25. Exact same results - supposed to be transferred but on hold for 2 hours. Then got recorded announcement that they couldn't complete the call and was dropped.
Later on same day sent official complaint via their secure messaging help centre. NO RESPONSE.
Called at 8:30 AM on April 26. Followed all the correct prompts to talk about a withdrawal. Agent said she didn't understand why I was having a problem and that she would transfer me to someone that could help. I told her about my problems from the day before and said " I hope that won't happen again ". Agent assured me that she would make sure that there would be no problems. After the transfer and about 5 minutes on hold my call was dropped.
All in all one of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCES THAT I HAVE EVER HAD.
vanguard is deceitful and not customer friendly
i have been a loyal customer with vanguard for 10 years. i do a lot of trading. recently their system doubled my trade 1 for 10 shares became 2 trades for 1o shares. has happened 4 times. has taken over an hour every time i call to get to a human. they are decent but that is where all good things end. they could not figureout what was happening so i requested a manager. he was in a meeting, too busy and i was faithfully promised he would call the next morning at 0830. i waited a half day and no call back.
another hour wait trying to get to him cedric is first name. had no excuse for not calling me back. said he would send a request to tech department to check it. had me talk to a tech person who gave me a different way to get to them. 2 days later same problem happened. called and cedric was supposed to call me back and never did. next step is the sec for them making unauthorized trades in my account. . this summer they closed down the email way to contact them. guess they want no paper trails of mistakes. they do record all calls and i wish cedrics boss would monitir my calls as the proverbial poop is going to hit the fan shortly. please never ever give these folks any money. hope vanguard monitors this.

Simple to open, simple to transfer into, simple to verify for withdrawals, low fees on accounts and funds. All around, a simple good service that helps you do what you want and then gets out of the way.
Improvements:
-An app would be great, but the website is easy enough
-A broader range of ESG would be good, though this has been improving <- if this improves further, consider my review five stars
Avoid if you want a professional service
Taken 2 months now and still not had my son's isa transferred to this company! Staff continue to tell you they will chase and monitor things but do nothing! They never call you back and are just useless

Support is awful. Just awful!!! You wont get a reply within 3 days. Their support is like dealing with bolchy teenagers. They cant be bothered. I suggest others to go invest elsewhere. Im in the process of moving my money to a more professional outfit. SHAME ON YOU Vanguard!! >:0
Never again!
This company will use every method possible to delay returning your money. Apart from that the return was seriously less than an equivalent fund with Natwest.
If you don't want hassle I suggest going elsewhere.
