Brain training; improving for the long-term
I was dealing with many problems, I felt stuck and incapable of forward movement. With distrust of AI and concern about the effect of inactivity on my brain, I began looking for "brain training" and happened upon Mark Ashton Smith. He was in the process of creating a new program, yet he helped me with a few Zoom counseling sessions, using N-Back and access to his Substack. His new program/app, IQMindware.com, is now available and i have completed my first 20 day training session. There is a pre-test and a post test. My score rose 18 points. IQMindware is not about great scores or getting better at playing games (which does happen) but training your brain to grow in resilience through increasingly complex and uncertain situations; to stretch your capacities and reasoning ability for the long-term and to not get "stuck". I have not yet used all the other training aids that come with IQMindware (including how to use AI without losing your own judgement and ability to learn) but i look forward to using and reusing all that is available through this excellent program. Mark Ashton Smith has responded to all of my questions and concerns, given prompt attention to potential glitches in a new program. The price is reasonable. I highly recommend IQMindware.com
