The adverts are every 5 or so minutes and last for 5 minutes doubling the show time. The quality of the streaming is shocking I'd say the worst streaming service out there and £5.99 a month just to go ad free is extortionate for a below average streaming service.

Its absolutely awful 😖 keeps playing the same episode or goes back to the beginning and loads like crazy too

It has completely lost my "Continue watching" section so I don't know where I'm up to.

Support is useless, there is no dialog, instead one has to full in a form (OVER and OVER) giving irrelivant information... Eg. for a missing feature ("Continue watching" section missing ) it wants network speed data.

It really is truely appaling software.

When watching a series it keeps taking you back to the first episode just to make you watch the adverts again

Suddenly cut my subscription, when it still has four months to run.

Unreliable. Streaming fails far far too frequently requiring a retry often more than once.
Sometimes steaming has to be restarted from the beginning.
The worst streaming app there is.

What a waste of money. I catch up on old episodes of series I watched years ago, I exit the app and the next day your ‘continue watching’ is non existent so you’ve lost everything and what series/episode you where on. I also pay for PREMIUM and I can’t even rewind or fast forward without it chucking me out of the app and then I have to find the episode all over again as there’s no continue option. I don’t have sky it’s unaffordable, I have a fire stick and use all the apps this one mainly and it’s an absolute nightmare. Absolutely ruins evenings when we sit down after work to watch something. Infuriating app.

I've usually enjoyed X, but I've just watched a series called the Stolen Girl. Towards the very end she says how her father sexually abused her! That is Not entertainment! And, Should come with a warning, before you bother to begin to watch so many episodes.
Don't promote or normalise illegal behaviour. This behaviour promotes serious mental health issues as normal!!! What's your motive here ITVx???

Worst streaming app anyone who uses this app is going to experience frustration and anger rather than relaxing and fun.Mayswell of made the whole series about that subway sandwich and dominos as it was on the tv more than what i was trying to watch.DO NOT USE!!!!!!!

Although I had seen Emdeavour I have been binge watching it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I particularly enjoyed the last episode, Miss Thursday’s wedding to Detective Strange and Morse being confronted with those awful people in Blenheim. I was moved to tears when I saw Bright retire and Morse’s little daydream and the farewell between Morse and Thursday was something else, his flashbacks at all of the people who were important to him. Morse was so generous but I could not help feeling he lost even though he was the Victor. Fantastic series.

Needs a complete rewrite. Slow, buggy. Keeps dropping signal even at 150mbs. Have to login each time. And now trying to watch the rugby half the screen is taken up with adverts!?! Please do not award ITV any more sporting events.

This really is the worst service and the editing for ads seems to be done by a child. They clearly don’t care as it hasn’t improved at all.

So, I've been paying to not have commercials, for about three years now.
The price has just gone up to £5.99. A 20% increase, and yet, you've now started including mandatory TV ads, for programs I have ZERO interest in, and can't skip them.
Who's ridulously stupid idea was this???
I can tolerate the price increase, but I'm not tolerating the cr@p enforcment of rubbish TV shows.
Yes, this has made me very angry. If this hasn't changed by the end of March 2026, you can shove your subscription where the sun doesn't shine, and I'll just delete the app and stop watching any of your shows. There are plenty more TV shows available these days.

I feel like I need to review ITVx because I feel outraged with them. Firstly, the app is atrocious - it freezes, goes blank mid programme, prevents you from continue watching from where you left off, takes you back to the home page mid programme, the volume malfunctions and it takes you back to terrestrial TV when you're watching a programme in the app. This is a persistent issue that makes watching programmes on the app pointless because it is so frustrating and annoying, and it's been going on since the app first appeared.

Secondly, I am furious that ITV have prevented BT customers from fast forwarding through advertisements. I can only assume that BT have been paid a substantial amount of money for this. My monthly payment as a BT customer is already too high, we have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a TV licence, and now if I want the freedom to skip through advertisements I have to pay ITV a monthly fee to do so on the app, and don't get that option on terrestrial TV (although I have a feeling that it won't be long before they offer the chance for customers to pay a fee in order to skip through ads). This is in my opinion, disgraceful. Yet again, it is profit before people. And the laughable thing is, the app doesn't even work properly. ITV should be ashamed about this - they don't care about their customers, they care about money. I no longer watch anything on ITV, and if there is something I would like to watch I purchase on Blu-Ray because it's cheaper and I can watch it as many times as I like for free, without ads.
