My name is Alexandra, I am 44, and I am three months pregnant. I am writing this testimony hoping to encourage as many women as possible who may have lost their hope.

Four years ago when I lost a child, without over stressing, my husband and I did everything humanly possible to create a family. We turned to exceptional in vitro fertilization centers where I made 3 in vitro fertilization attempts, but the results were all negative. With the passing of time, you can imagine the effect this had on us both economically and psychologically. We had decided to stop all efforts and were convinced that we had to look towards other kinds of procedures such as adoption, etc. One day, I decided to browse on the internet to see which were the best IVF clinics that included the method of donating ova in their program. I found many different clinics but there was one that stood out and made a really good impression on me, so, I decided to write to them and fill in a form that I found on their site, even though I wasn’t feeling too optimistic anyway. The very next morning, I had already received a reply from the doctor, who was amazingly polite, warm and explanatory and who provided a very detailed description of the procedure that we would have to undergo, in the case that we decided to go through with this challenging experience. From that moment onward, they were constantly by my side. There wasn’t an email of mine that he didn’t reply to in just few minutes and whatever doubts, or queries I may have had along with any fears I faced, he was there, always ready to support me and provide me with the information and direction I needed every step of the way. We were informed approximately one week prior to our date of arrival in Greece and when we arrived at the clinic, within just a few days, everything was accomplished in comfort and relaxation, as if we were at home.
Today I'm in my 13th week of pregnancy, everything is going very well so far, and I thank God for showing me the way to Dr Paraschos.

If any one of you has the slightest doubt which center to choose, I can guarantee you will not regret your choice, should you choose EmBIO. I highly recommend it to you after having experimented with the best IVF centers in US. Today, it seems to me a miracle and I will never cease to be grateful to them for sharing my moments during this adventure so closely and with such warmth!

Wir wollen auf diesem Weg, vielen die Hoffnung machen, nicht aufzugeben. Es sich sich bei uns gelohnt und wir erwarten ein Kind. Nach vielen erfolglosen Versuche in Deutschland haben wir zufälliger Weise die kontakte von embio Klinik im Internet gefunden und angerufen. Wir wurden zu unserer Überraschung in Deutsch beraten und für die ganze Dauer der Behandlung begleitet. Tag und Tag stand die Assistentin von Dr, Paraschos an unserer Seite. Sie hat uns emotional unglaublich unterstützt. Wir hätten ohne diese Hilfe, bestimmt nicht an unser Ziel gekommen. Wir erwarten heute ein Kind und sind unglaublich glücklich. I had a great experience with Embio. After three failed IVF in my country, I reached Embio. Of course I searched for all the information I could get online. I am 40 years, the failure of my previous three IVF was due to poor egg quality, I could have tried again with my own eggs, or with a donor...and I decided the best chance for me would be with donor eggs. Short story, I contacted them in december 2019, in february I had the ET, stayed in Athens for a week and this time, it worked for me. Now I am pregant for the first time with my baby and I am happy beyond words.
About the clinic, after I wrote them,Anna, the coordinator, contacted me and since then she asisted me with absolutely all the questions, problems, medication, everything. I did all the bloodtests and ultrascans in my country and emailed the results. I received the medication from Greece, and only went to the clinic for the embryo transfer. Dr Paraschos is indeed very busy, but he takes his time to talk to all his patients before and after the transfer.

I would like to say a big Thankyou to Dr praschaos . From the moment I sent an email sitting in the UK and got an almost response immediately within the same day from the Dr himself and got assigned a coordinator who looked after me and my whole ivf treatment from day 1 up until now being 5 weeks pregnant. Lovely lady true angel on earth Anna . She supported me and assured me throughout the whole journey and gave me so much support that to remain positive and it will work.
I was refused ivf treatment in the Uk due to my weight and had no option but to look abroad . I found few clinics in Greece but from the first response this team made me feel they are so caring and genuine which they are 💯.
I only went Greece once and my husband joined me and left me once he gave his sperm on the day of egg retrevial. I wanted to stay their the whole time and my ivf coordinater sorted my whole trip and arranged taxis to be picked up from the airport . She gave us maps of where we could go and visit in our spare time . She ordered my medications and had them delivered to the apartment . Never had I ever imagined how well looked after the people of Greece could be . If anyone is trying for a baby and it hasn’t worked you must try Embio medical centre the staff will make it happen for you . Thanks again Dr and Anna.

Wir sind ein nicht mehr ganz so junges Paar. Wir kämpfen seit fast sieben Jahren darum, Eltern zu werden, und heute können wir sagen, dass wir es fast geschafft haben. Wir sind auf EmBIO Klinik in Athen zufällig gefallen und haben uns entschlossen, Dr. Paraschos und seine Assistentin Anna persönlich kennenzulernen. Wir wurden mit Gelassenheit empfangen und wir hatten sofort Vertrauen. Kein Vergleich mit der Vergangenheit und anderen Kliniken... sie luden uns ein, es noch einmal zu versuchen. Nach zwei nicht gelungenen Versuchen, war das dritte Mal erfolgreich, wir warten nun auf unser Mädchen.
Wir möchten betonen, dass wir ständig begleitet wurden: Anna antwortet (nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt) abends, Samstag, Sonntag, an Feiertagen, im August, wenn die Klinik geschlossen hat ... und für jede Art von Frage, immer mit Herzlichkeit und immer erreichbar.
Dies war der insgesamt 11. Versuch für uns und wir haben einige Kliniken besucht und haben ebenso viel Erfahrungen gesammelt.
Wir glauben, dass der wirtschaftliche Faktor auch eine große Rolle in einer Familie spielt, und EmBIO versetz das Paar nicht in die Lage, Schulden zu machen (wie es andere machen). Wir laden Paare wie uns ein, sich immer wieder eine Chance zu geben, sich in die Hände derer zu geben, die Sie auf so schwierigen Wegen kennenlernen und sich Schritt für Schritt mit Sorgfalt und einzigartiger Hilfe führen zu lassen. Era già qualche anno che io e mio marito cercavamo di concepire un figlio, ma le difficoltà mediche che in primis mi riguardavano sembrava non ce lo permettessero.
Alcuni dolorosi tentativi in Italia, infatti, avevano se possibile peggiorato il quadro clinico nonché affievolite le nostre speranze, dal momento che non riuscivo a produrre nemmeno un ovocita - pur ricorrendo alla ICSI-FIVET.
Mio marito mi propose quindi di tentare la strada dell’ovodonazione.
Consultammo alcune cliniche italiane e straniere, tra cui l’EmBIO Medical Center di Atene.
In meno di 24 ore dalla nostra richiesta di informazioni Eleni mi chiamò; mi sentii subito ascoltata e rincuorata davvero, poiché per la prima volta mi si prospettò una terapia studiata appositamente su di me, in base alla mia anamnesi, strutturata giorno dopo giorno a seconda di come il mio corpo avrebbe reagito ai farmaci.
Interrompemmo subito la ricerca poichè finalmente avevamo trovato qualcuno serio di cui fidarci.
Per gli altri medici consultati fino a quel momento purtroppo eravamo numeri: in un sistema sanitario studiato per statistiche, io ero una paziente come tante altre da sottoporre al medesimo iter di stimolazione ormonale; a nessuno interessava il fatto che ciò su di me non funzionasse, anzi mi generasse dolore.
Il dottor Paraschos e il suo staff, invece, pensarono fin dall’inizio un programma ad hoc per me, e questa incredibile professionalità e competenza ritengo siano state la carta vincente del nostro successo!
Inoltre l’abnegazione e l’impegno di Eleni per entrare immediatamente in empatia con me, denota la totale comprensione da parte del Centro dell’importanza di far seguire con delicatezza e umanità le sue pazienti: saper infatti di poter contare su una persona competente di fiducia per qualsiasi dubbio, sconforto o chiarimento è stato di incredibile supporto emotivo, quindi non meno importante per la riuscita della terapia.

After an ectopic pregnancy and many unsuccessful years of trying to have a child, we decided to seek help. We thoroughly researched the many options available to us as our ultimate choice had to be a team which made us feel confident and comfortable with such an important event in our lives.

I am English and I have a very good experience with Embio and Dr. Paraschos. And I saw many women who are very satisfied with Embio clinic and have babies after Dr. Paraschos treatment.
We contacted dr. Paraschos and him asks us medical tests – scan, blood tests etc., we send its through e-mail, I did the fertility treatement under Dr. Paraschos guidance also by e-mail, and after that we came in Athens only for FIV. He helped us to become a family after a life of infertility and bitterness. With his support and individualized treatment I become mother at 50 years old and I had now my first baby girl, a wonderful daughter after only one FIV! Now I have 51 years old and a perfect daughter and after a month she will be one year old. All my family are joyful. I’m so happy for choosing Embio clinic!
The clinic is housed in a beautiful modern building, is very clean and the staff were polite, helpful, calm and correct. Dr. Paraschos and Embio team are true professionals, speak very good English, communicate very well by phone or e-mail, are very well organized , respectful, calm, kind and spent a lot of time with us and explained options and treatments carefully. Hi readers, I am a Dutch single woman. I would like to share that I have a very positive experience with the Embio Clinic in Athens in Greece. I went there because of the recommendations I found on the internet and beacuse of my first impression of the quality of the information on their website. First of all the service there is really great and the people that work there are really friendly and compentent in what they do. I got a personal contactperson Elena who helped me very pleasantly with the entire medication and IVF proces, answered all my questions fast.
Even more important, the succesrates of that clinic are very good compared to other clinics, while the costs are even less then in other countries. My first ivf attempt with a donor from cryos sperm bank in Denmark was succesful. I only had to go to the clinic twice for a short time. Now have a healthy son of 1,5 years old. My age was 43 when I started the ivf proces.
Tomorrow I fly back there to try to conceive again via IVF. I hope to be of some use to other people who are deciding about IVF and which clinic to go to.

After having done four unsuccessful cycles, three IVF’s, the words no couple ever wants to hear, that “we might want to consider an egg donor", didn’t come so much as a shock to us, yet we were devastated. Actually, heartbroken might describe what we felt more precisely, not because there’s anything wrong with an egg donor, but just the fact that we did not seem to be able to have a baby on our own and the financial aspect and stress of going down that road seemed too much to bear at that particular point.
We decided to put it off for a while and to just take it easy while we considered, at a slower, more relaxing pace, all our options. We were told about a fantastic clinic and an amazing doctor there, so, he became my only and last hope and I was bent on finding a solution to my problem as no one had really explained to us what the problem was. Both of our tests had shown no specific problem. At EmBIO clinic, where I had some extra tests done (that hadn’t been done before), such as my ovaries tested, then Dr. Paraschos caused an over-hyper stimulation of my ovaries, hence, I couldn’t do an egg retrieval at that stage so we had to wait for the next cycle (#8) and to our indescribable relief and joy, WE MADE IT!!!!

We are forever grateful to Dr. Paraschos and his whole team that was there for us every step of the way, he encouraged us, he was polite, and he was professional most of all! Today, we have a 1-year old baby girl who is the love of our lives and feel so fortunate to have trusted my instincts and to not have given up!

Lets put it simple , from where ever you get success , it become best for you . Ho 34 anni e a febbraio e nata la mia splendida bimba dopo anni di tentativi andati male, un giorno su internet ho trovato il nome di quests clinica ad atene e li ho contattati subito sono stata ricontattata da una loro assistente, Eleni, mi ha subito rassicurata e incoraggiata, insomma ci sono andata ma al primo e al secondo tentativo e stato negativo, al terzo fatto a giugno di quest anno ho avuto il mio primo positivo ed ora guardo la mia bimba e ancora nn ci credo, devo ringraziare di questo miracolo il dottor Paraschos grande uomo eccellente dottore sempre molto umano e un grazie anke alla sua assistente Eleni sempre disponibile e gentile , la clinica subito mi ha messo una tranqullitae una pace indispensabile x la buona riuscita grazie e ancora grazie a voi tutti

Sono Iryna, ho 40 anni e da diversi anni io e mio marito abbiamo un sogno di avere un bambino. E martedì ho sentito il primo battito di mio bimbo, un emozione fortissimo, tutto grazie a dottore Parachos e Eleni, la sua assistente, che stata simpaticissima e molto disponibile da prima domanda che ho scritto a lei sul Viber. Mi hanno seguito passo per passo in tutta terapia ormonale a distanza in Italia, siamo arrivati unica volta per transfer, tutto necessario stato mandato via email. Il centro molto bello, tantissimi foto di bimbi appesi su mure danno tanta speranza. Il dottore molto gentile e delicato. Abbiamo fatto la scelta giusta, grazie di cuore a Dottore, Eleni e tutto personale molto gentile e professionale.

I am the happiest woman - mother in the world. After 6 unsuccessful in vitro fertilization attempts in France, where I live due to my husband's profession, I finally managed to get pregnant on my first attempt and gave birth to 2 healthy twins in December 2018, thanks to Mr. Paraschos. My finding out about Mr. Thanos Paraschos was occasioned by the testimonies in a forum of women from France that had had a child with the help and care of Embio. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to him because he is a very capable doctor with ethos and values that focus on the creation of family, just as I want to thank his team at Embio who empathized with my anxiety, treated me with kindness, and supported me all the way through to the end in my efforts.

Das ist meine zweite erfolgreiche Eiezellspende seit 2012 bei Embio – wir haben bereits einen gesunden Jungen mit Hilfe von Dr. Paraschos auf die Welt gebracht. Wäre ich in Deutschland geblieben, hätte ich nie ein Kind bekommen können, mein Traum von einer vollkommenen Familie hätte sich nie erfüllt und mich als Frau hätte nichts glücklich machen können auf dieser Welt. Ich weiß - und das wusste ich immer schon - dass ich ohne ein Kind immer einen wunden Punkt in meiner Seele gehabt hätte.

Natürlich konnte mir keiner die Garantie geben, dass ich jemals hätte schwanger werden können. Auch in Griechenland nicht. Aber Dr. Paraschos hat gesagt, wir werden es versuchen. Es hat natürlich auch bei ihm erfolglose Versuche gegeben und wir haben uns oft gefragt ob es nicht doch so sein soll kinderlos zu bleiben? Aber unser Kinderwunsch war stärker. Auch nach unserem Sohn, der heute 4 Jahre alt und unser Ein und Alles ist, wollten wir unseren Traum von einem weiteren Kind nicht aufgeben. Ich bin nun mit meinem zweiten Kind schwanger. Bald wird es auf die Welt kommen.

Wir sind schon so oft in diese Klinik gekommen, haben diese Reise, die psychisch nicht gerade einfach ist, so viele Male auf uns genommen. Wir haben Niederlagen verkraften müssen. Aber heute weiß ich, dass alles Geld der Welt, jede Mühe, die wir nicht gescheut haben, sich gelohnt haben und uns keiner dieses Glück mehr nehmen kann.

Dr. Paraschos ist ein wunderbarer Mensch und ein hervorragender Arzt, den man vertrauen kann, der genau weiß was er tut und mit nur wenigen Worten wieder Hoffnung geben kann, die man manchmal so schnell verliert. Wenn wir in die Klinik kommen, fühlen wir uns immer sehr nett empfangen, von den Hebammen und dem Personal. Dadurch schwindet dieses beklemmende Gefühl und alles wirkt sehr familiär und entspannt, was für mich sehr wichtig ist und zu einem erfolgreichen Versuch beiträgt.

Wir wünschen Dr. Paraschos viel Kraft für die wunderbare Arbeit die er leistet. Wir werden ihm immer von ganzem Herzen dankbar sein für die zwei Engel, die er uns geschenkt hat!

Je ne recommande pas du tout cette clinique. Au début vous avez de bons contacts j'imagine pour attirer le client mais je dois dire qu'après il en est tout autre. On n'étudie pas attentivement votre dossier médical et on vous donne un traitement général commun à toutes. J'ai eu des doses énormes d'hormones bien au dessus des doses recommandées de ce fait j'ai fait une hyperstimulation dont ils n'ont absolument pas tenu compte. J'imagine qu'ils doivent donner de fortes doses aux donneuses également…

Ensuite quant à la ponction et transfert vous êtes parquée brancard contre brancard dans une salle commune sans intimité avant et après l'intervention. Cela ressemble vraiment à une usine... On vous fait le transfert sans vous indiquez exactement la qualité des embryons. Dans mon cas on me disait qu'ils étaient de bonne qualité. Je n'ai jamais vu ou parlé avec un embryologiste Le médecin ne connait pas votre dossier et vous souhaite juste un "bonne chance" après avoir empoché son argent. Il n'y a bien sûr aucun suivi après.

J'ai eu mon enfant après la deuxième tentative mais je n'y suis pas retournée pour agrandir ma famille. J'ai été dans une autre clinique d'Athènes avec une expérience tout autre. Il y a des très bonnes cliniques en Grèce mais sûrement pas celle-ci.

Les seuls points positifs sont la gentillesse des infirmières, clinique moderne, propre et un parking à disposition au sous sol.

L unica cosa a cui posso far i complimenti è il servizio delle assistenti, per il resto, mi spiace molto dirlo, ma nn ho trovato nulla di ciò che dicono molte recensioni ( per cui presumo non vere ) sulla gentilezza e umanità del dottor P. Non ti guarda mai in faccia, non ti parla mai per più di 6 secondi e soprattutto non s interessa minimamente ne all aspetto medico ne a quello umano. Niente o quasi spiegazioni ne prima, me durante, ne sopratutto dopo il fallimento dell inseminazione. Neanche una parola, se non altro per riaccaparrarti come cliente.. ma a parte questo... tornata in Italia sono andata a fondo sulle possibili cause ed ho scoperto, tramite un esame del sangue, che ho un valore nel sangue che non favorisce L attecchimento di uneventuale feto. Ma tutto questo, visto che sbandierano tanto studi e tecniche avanzate, non avrebbero dovuto verificarlo all Embio??? La verità è che è L ennesimo centro, dove sei solo un n a cui far lasciare tot mila Euro.
Aggiungo che nei gg in cui sono stata io, non vi è stato alcun positivo ( X lo meno tra le persone con cui ho parlato in sala d attesa -e non eravamo poche e in più la maggior parate di loro erano lì al secondo tentativo)

Ciao, sono Filippa, sono ben contenta di lasciare la mia testimonianza presso l'Embio! ho 42 anni, e dopo varie fivet in Italia non andate a buon fine, mi sono messa alla ricerca in internet e mi sono soffermata sul sito dell'Embio. Ho provato a contattere e ho trovato subito chi parlava italiano, avendo io problemi con altre lingue. fin da subito Eleni e' stata convincente e molto cordiale. Ho iniziato, senza tempi D'attesa e dopo alcuni esami del sangue, la mia terapia fino ad arrivare presso la clinica per il tranfer. Abbiamo trovato una bellissima clinica con personale molto efficente, in particolare il dottor Paraschos! una persona molto professionale e competente che ti trasmette subito sicurezza. Anche la coordinatrice Eleni molto gentile, non mi ha mai abbandonato, sempre al mio fianco per qualsiasi cosa! ho fatto il transefer di 3 embrioni con ovudonazione e ora sono alla 8 settimana con due cuorici dentro di me! E' ancora presto per cantar vittoria, comunque vada mi sento di consigliare questa clinica a chiunque voglia intraprendere questo percorso!

A special thanks to doctor Paraschos and his assistant Elena for making us feel right at home in Greece at the EMBIO ivf center as we travelled a great distance from Canada .All of our needs were meat and superseded by there hospital, all of our questions answered to our satisfaction and the final result was that my wife did get pregnant and we are expecting a child.
