Very helpful and extremely efficient with excellent communication!

The repair man, Chris, was friendly, professional and took every opportunity to ensure that we were happy with his work. Owing to the fact that we had to make a second repair claim for our (under warranty but the company went into receivership) windows and doors within a few weeks of an earlier claim it meant paying out the excess of £100 again :-(. Louise and the team were friendly and helpful and on my second claim I requested that Chris give all of our windows and doors a check over when he repaired the front door locking mechanism which had snapped internally. and that he investigated and adjusted another door that was giving us trouble with locking and unlocking. This he did and he left us satisfied that he had been unable to detect any other issues that may need rectifying in the near future. My only gripe is the delay between submitting a claim and receiving acknowledgement of such and then the fairly prolonged wait before Chris was able to attend. I do understand that Chris is the only windows/doors repair man on the team and so is obviously very busy but I did explain from the off that the front door security was a worry to us as the door catches/locks did not engage and so the door was only secured from the door handle down but it didn't seem to make any impact. However, the door is now secure and we are pleased that there appear to be no immediate issues with any door or windows. Overall we are very happy with the service we received from IWA and, in the nicest possible way, hope we won't have to call on their expertise again (fingers crossed).

Very responsive and helpful in identifying my qualification for coverage and led me through the documentation process. The work was carried out by a professional expert who identified and sorted out the problems efficiently.

After the new roof fitted to our conservatory started to leak, we found that the firm who did the installation had
gone out of business The installation has a 10 year Guarantee covered by insurance. When we made contact, the claim was handled throughout at IWA by Louise who very quickly and efficiently arranged for their specialist to call to assess and repair the problem.
I must say that the whole experience with IWA was professional, courteous, and efficient. AND POSITIVE.

Efficient service fron Louise throughout following the development of cracks in my resin drive. They asked for all related paperwork and payment details but this is to be expected to avoid fraudulent claims. The claim was promptly accepted following a visit by their representative to assess the extent of the cracking and the same gentleman completed the repairs. These were delayed until the following year as this type of repair is weather dependent but I did not have to chase the company as they contacted me with a date and time. The repairer attended on the agreed date and prepared and repaired the cracks to my satisfaction. Whilst you hope to not have to use the insurance cover on a contract I was very impressed with this company and their prompt and efficient service.

Great service. Engineer was really good too, prompt and tidy

I received a very good service from Louise and the engineer. Unfortunately the original roofer must of done a terrible job as I had to make at least 3 claims through IWA each claim costing £250 even with insurance cover. I highly recommend consumers take up the cover if offered.

Louise was user friendly and super prompt. The claims adjuster was a tad surly to start with but warmed up. He seemed over worked. Overall they dealt with the claim efficiently (having negotiated down the claim quite determinedly).

We were pleased to have I w a insurance. Our sealed units broke down and they replaced them with no hesitation. Excellent service and job well done.

When the company that installed our solar panels and were not around to correct problems causing a serious leak into our house from the roof, went bust, IWA were able to step in and send an engineer out. He refitted the panels and the problem was resolved.

When I purchased my conservatory I took comfort from the fact that the company proudly stated.....‘We have 10 year, Parts & Labour Guarantee. We are members of the IWA Warranty for your Complete Peace of Mind’
Some 7 years later when I have an issue with a leaking roof and the original supplier has gone into liquidation, I make claim to IWA. Firstly it took me the best part of a week to get a claim form 'as they were busy and still working on emails from 3 days ago' I submitted the claim with a mountain of original paperwork, which I had fortunately retained. I was then informed that the claim was underwritten by Elite Insurance Company, who are in administration. A third party was dealing with the claims for the Receiver. IWA basically washed their hands of it and told me I would have to deal with the Administrators representative Quest Consulting. They demanded more paperwork which I was able to provide, but then put the ball firmly back in my court to obtain, and pay, for inspection reports and obtain quotations. The aim obviously to string the situation out and hopefully wear me down, so I would give up which I now have. Win, win for them, frustration for me. Based on my experience, have NO peace of mind if you are told you have this cover, because it appears to be worthless

I can only say as I find and I can’t complain about the service provided . Accepted the claim after surviving the problem and arranged the repair . They attended the site on the agreed date and repaired the issue quickly and with care. I can only award this 5 stars as the service and communication was first rate

Although I had a ten year guarantee both the insurance co Elite Insurance went bust 2019 then installer went bust 2022 nobody wants to take responsibility for the warranty IWA do not offer any help at all

They seem little better than the companies that offer their warranty. They look at any excuse to avoid payment and demand documentation that they already have sent to them in emails. The warranty is next to useless

They are the same scam as the cowboys who use them.
Despite the evidence of roof damage caused by poor workmanship, they blame on the storm and they don`t pay out. No to mention that they keep you waiting several weeks before they send you an incompetent surveyor who has no knowledge of the trade at all.

The certification policy is open to fraud by unscrupulous trades who can take money inform you that you are covered by IWA, only for IWA to reject the claim when the work had not been done

IWA terms and conditions are not favourable to the consumer

Concerning is the 90 day window, if the trade company ceases to trade after the 90 days from your deposit, IWA do not attempt to help one Iota.

For Policy to work company has to cease trade and be liquidated within the 90 days ?

IWA will also attempt to null and void your policy if you made any more payments greater than the initial 25 % - very odd ?

Had written to these people three times and their attitude is appalling, take it or leave it.
