Augustine was really helpful… but need more staff
Augustine was really helpful and took time to understand my problem; he explained things in a way I could understand and made me feel like he really cared about me getting my house back. My only concern is that I think both Augustine and John (who dealt with my case previously) are given too many cases at a time, and so can’t always respond as quickly as they’d like; that’s not the fault the individual solicitors (so I’ve not downgraded my score), I just feel management need to invest in some more staff.

Continual relevant feed back/updates, sincerity and a genuine willingness to seek a satisfactory resolution by Grant especially and one of the assistant team managers. Straight forwards advice avoiding the complexities of legal jargon and, given the nature of these things, a relatively prompt resolution.

Accident Report
These guys did a very good job of securing a personal injuries claim for me after road traffic accident. The compensation was more than I thought it might be so I'm glad that I had this firm working for me. Their estimate of how long it would take to sort out was also on the button.
The few downsides were somewhat irregular communications (probably due to processes rather than anything else), and having to provide information later in the process that I felt should have been asked for earlier on.
They took the agreed percentage of my compensation which was fair enough, but having to pay VAT on that fee was a bit of a scunner (as we say in Scotland). Again, not their fault.
Overall they did fine job for me but I hope I'm never in a position to have to use their good services again!

I had an impression of accident claim…
I had an impression of accident claim lawyers as "Ambulance chasers" after what I viewed in American TV shows however I'm delighted to say that my experience with Jackson Boyd was the polar opposite. From start to finish they were diligent, driven and had my best interests at heart at all times and got me a fair settlement which I wouldn't of been able to achieve myself. Jackson Boyd are the worst lawyers in…
Jackson Boyd are the worst lawyers in Glasgow. They sat on my case for three years, letting it approach time bar while I was fighting a serious illness. They did absolutely nothing, and asked for 2k to continue my case even though it was a no win no fee agreement , I had to take it all on myself. This is an absolute disgrace of a firm—do not go near them.

Exceeded all expectations
Efficient and effective, they worked flexibly with me, providing good advice with a patient approach. I didn't think I would be eligible for compensation but thanks to their persistence, I received a payout which has fully covered the cost of a car which was written off. They truly exceeded all expectations!

Highly recommended
I instructed Jackson Boyd in relation to a dispute with a roofer. I was very fortunate to have been allocated Gillian McCluskey. Right from the start she was excellent, she understood all the issues and explained what she was doing and why.
The case went into court and Gillian was always very efficient with dates. Gillian managed to secure an out of court settlement for me which I was happy with. I’d highly recommend the firm and Gillian.
