I placed the order on a Friday but it was not processed until the following Tuesday. I needed my order for the Thursday and although it arrived on thecWednesfay snd in good time. I was anxious it woujd not arrive in time

I emailed the company twice to ask the length of a dress. No reply. So I had to guess. When I received it it was too short. What do I care how tall the model is? Just tell me the length of it.
So I am out of pocket by the cost of delivery and return because they do not choose to communicate with their customers. Will never buy from them again

It arrived quickly, I would have liked to know an estimate for customs payment.

James now has a shop on the Whatnot app which is very cheap compared to the website. I’ve bought 5 items from the whatnot auction site and although they’re all nice I was very disappointed to see ‘Made in China’ on ALL of them. Far cry from the image of Italian design the website says.

I visited the St John’s Wood branch and the middle aged blonde woman was extremely rude and condescending towards me, I think it was because I was young and didn’t fit the luxury shopper type. Extremely disrespectful and uncalled for.

A risk, as I knew sale item could not be returned - however fit / cut was good and quality exceptional. So I am very happy all round !

One item damaged

Beautiful dress, top quality cotton material and true to colour as described. Always a pleasure to purchase from this brand.

Purchased an orange frill neck top by James Lakeland from DP. I am leaving this feedback because it is not DP I had an issue with.
Bought it in size xl. First of all the neck of the elasticated top is so tight that I felt I was chocking. The size xl (16) top is a small size 14 or maybe a size 12. Even for the half price (37.50) it is a ripoff.

A hassle at every step. I still have not been refunded in full.

The item I received was nothing like the description online, both in terms of sizing and fabric. The sizing was off by nearly 16 inches around the hips. The fabric appeared to be a standard denim from the photo and item description but turned out to be a very lightweight summer fabric (not denim).

When I called to politely tell customer service about the problems, I was promised a full refund, including a refund on shipping. Over two weeks later, when I hadn't received anything, I called to find out what was going on. No one picked up. I had to send multiple messages (none responded to) to get a partial refund.
