They are the only Cuban cigars source…
They are the only Cuban cigars source in Ireland. They are just jems which we need to keep running. And they do their hard job great. As good as it possible with stupid Irish lows. I always support then and participate in all JJ Fox events and buy cigars and whiskey sometimes. They have great selection of both.

Amy was incredibly helpful, passionate about her job and was refreshing to receive that level of customer service and guidance. When dealing with Ozzy the next day he was also a real credit to your company. The product where delivered exactly when requested and overall 100% delighted with the service. I will be back soon !!

Montecristo #3 & 4
I have been buying Montecristo #3 & 4 cigars from James J Fox for many years.
I visited on Saturday, May 23rd at, around 11:00am. I was served by Maciel. I asked for a box of #3. Out of stock? I then asked for a box of #4. Also out of stock??
I was disappointed to learn that they hadn't my favourites but could not get a clear answer as to why!
I had to settle for a box of #5s. I was informed that no boxes of 25 were available and had to settle for a cardboard pack of 5x5, €562. Huge disappointment. I asked whether Yiorgos was about. He was not.
I asked for some longer Montecristo and was shown some fine looking cigars. 4 at €46 each.
It was only when I returned to the US that I discovered that Maciel had fobbed me off with 4 Quai D'Orsay #54., Excellent Cuban, in its own right, but NOT Montecristo! I spent €746 in total but it was a very disappointing visit!
Fox's Business is Tobacco and Whiskey.
That they have so few of a best selling brand is, in my view, inexplicable.

Firstly, we are sorry to hear that your recent visit did not meet the expectations you have built up over many years of shopping with us. We fully understand your disappointment at finding both Montecristo No. 3 and No. 4 unavailable, particularly when these are cigars you have enjoyed and purchased from us in the past.
Unfortunately, the availability of Cuban cigars has become increasingly challenging in recent years due to ongoing difficulties within Cuba itself. The island has experienced significant economic and infrastructure issues, including widespread power shortages and production disruptions, which have had a substantial impact on cigar manufacturing and exports. As a result, cigar retailers around the world are receiving far fewer cigars than they would historically have expected, and even some of the most popular and established lines can be unavailable for extended periods. While we appreciate that this does not lessen the frustration of travelling to purchase a particular cigar and finding it unavailable, we hope it provides some context for the situation currently affecting the entire Cuban cigar market.
With regard to the cigars you purchased individually, we are sorry to learn that you returned home believing you had purchased Montecristo cigars when the cigars you received were Quai d'Orsay No. 54. Quai d'Orsay is indeed an excellent Cuban cigar in its own right, but we appreciate that it was not what you intended to buy. We can only assume that there was some misunderstanding during the discussion of alternative recommendations, as all cigars are sold labelled at the point of sale. Nevertheless, we regret any confusion that may have arisen and understand how disappointing it must have been to discover this only after returning to the United States.
We genuinely value your loyalty over the years and are sorry that this visit left you with such a negative impression. While the current supply situation remains challenging across many Cuban brands, we continue to do everything we can to secure stock and offer suitable alternatives when customers' preferred cigars are unavailable.
We hope that, should your travels bring you back to Ireland in the future, you might consider visiting us again and giving us another opportunity to provide the experience you have come to expect from James J. Fox.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! I was trying to order a gift to collect from store, but as I'm in the UK, the website wouldn't let me do it. I emailed the store and Amy sorted it. I arrived in Dublin for a surprise birthday trip and was able to collect and present the gift! Thanks again Amy x
