Ordered simpson strong ties on 26th November paid extra (£8.99) for 2-3 day delivery, not yet arrived on 5th December. Phoned, emailed & on line contact with zero response. Do not use.

I ordered 4 PBWS String Ties mid October and got delivery of 2 of them. There was no message that others were to follow so I contacted them to ensure that this was only a part order. There is a mobile number on the website which is permanently switched off - I e-mailed and used their chatbox - responses are generally really slow, if you get anything at all. I sent several messages each day and eventually someone responded, but only gave me vague promises about when the outstanding products would arrive - still not received. After many weeks of chasing they eventually said that they would give me a refund. No refund received yet and despite several days of further chasing. If they had been up front and told me that they couldn't provide it I could have gone elsewhere many weeks ago. I've been delaying my builder for several weeks and have now gone somewhere else for the product.

Ordered an item and it hasn’t been delivered, so emailed then and I have been completely ignored! Not impressed at all. My best advice would be to completely avoid

Ordered 7 items, only 2 were delivered a few days later.
I asked when I would get the other 5 and I was told they would arrive 3 days later.
Almost 3 weeks later and I've had zero communication from them, they don't have a phone number so you can't even talk to anyone.
My bank will now recover the money for the items that were not delivered.
I thought it was a scam, but why would they only deliver part of the goods?
Avoid.
