Good experience, no problems

My previous seller went out of business, so I had to swap to Japebo. I have no complaints, the items were dispatched quickly and arrived in a reasonable timeframe.

I purchased a product for widex

I purchased a product for widex , connection was incorrect, contacted customer service and I got and answer from a bot.

Buy with caution, product is genuine but if you have any issues or want a refund it will not happen

I currently have multiple correspondence with your team and no responses bar the early generic reply

While I appreciate your reply I believe it is complete waffle. There is nothing wrong with the hearing aid except the component I bought from Japebeo.

You say whoever I got the hearing aid from might extend a goodwill gesture to me when it's Japebo who should be making this gesture.

If I bought a part for a car from an autoparts shop and it was faulty I would bring it back to the shop. I would not send it to the people who made the car and expect goodwill.

I spent approx 90 euros in your shop so you and not the manufacturers received that money. The makers of the part are not the ones who should refund as a token of goodwill it's Japebo who should man up and do it.

Not very happy at all!

Long story short. I ordered a receiver and it packed up after 2 months. Re-ordered another and emailed customer service. Received an email to tell me that particular model was being discontinued. Maybe it's because it packed up after two months. Was then told the new model needed a different waxguard. I then had to order the waxguards and it cost me another 15 euros. I now have waxguards for the older model which was discontinued which I also ordered when I first bought the now discontinued receiver. I would ask anyone if this is the type of service you would like to receive?

Hi Damien, thank you for updating your review and for explaining the full situation. 
I’m genuinely sorry for the frustration this has caused — especially when your hearing aids are such an essential part of your life, and with severe tinnitus this isn’t a small issue.

I completely understand why this felt unfair. Having a receiver fail after a short time is bad enough, and then being automatically moved to the newer model because Phonak discontinued the 4.0 shouldn’t have left you paying extra or stuck with wax guards you can’t use. The change from CeruShield to CeruStop filters is a real difference in day-to-day maintenance, and we should have made that clearer up front so you didn’t end up with unnecessary cost or leftover parts for a discontinued model.

On the warranty point, I also want to explain this as clearly as possible because I hear how disappointing that was. The manufacturer warranty covers the hearing aids themselves, but spare receivers bought separately are classified as consumable replacement parts and don’t come with a standalone warranty. That’s why we advised that any warranty-related replacement would need to go through the hearing specialist who supplied your hearing aids, as they may be able to support you under the hearing-aid warranty or as goodwill.

I’m sorry again that this process has felt like excuses rather than support. Your feedback is taken seriously, and it highlights that we need to communicate model changes and compatibility more clearly so customers don’t end up in this position.
