Not a bad gym but having only one chest fly machine is a joke, need to have more chest equipment

The wide range of facilities and equipment is just about the only redeeming quality about this gym. There only ever seems to be one (or no) members of staff available, the toilets don’t seem to get cleaned regularly, and there is nothing provided to clean the machines you have been using although there are signs asking you to.

Regardless of the time of day you go it is always quite busy. I would not recommend if you enjoy friendly gyms that aren’t filled with gym bros and couples (not a problem itself but some people don’t enjoy this environment).

The actual equipment itself though is high quality and there are lots of places to train and you hardly ever have to wait for machines.

Local facilities at Brierley Hill are very good. Website is non existent and does not anywhere near match local competitor Pure Gym. Car park sometimes very crowded with the local Bingo hall next door and it could do with the security lights on and ideally CCTV installed to make it feel safer and more secure parking at night. Overall quite a bit pricier than Pure Gym which is just down the road but may suit some.

Easy to sign up and good atmosphere at the gym.

I recently joined, so far it’s a great gym and good equipment.
It does get extremely busy during peak times, even late evenings can be busy.
Like others have mentioned, people need to stop hogging machinery with their clothing when they are not using it.
I think another leg press would be useful and more cable cross machines. I struggle to get on these, even when it’s not so busy.
More visibility of staff in the gym would be helpful. I have wanted advice on how to use some equipment but could never see anyone to ask

I'm not doing any of the lessons, nor am I with any PT, so I can only comment on the premises and equipment.

It is clean, tidy and well maintained. It is also generally well equipped,

There is good capacity for squat and dead lift stations.

Though there is only one leg press, and only one pec fly/rear delt machine.

There are naturally plenty of treadmills, though watch out, because some of these are set to km/h and some to mph.

I tried to do a cool down at the end of a leg day, and ended up looking like I was in a silent movie.

Access to the gym is by scanning a QR code, generated by an app.

The place is popular for good reason, but the downside is that it can get very busy, even early in the morning.

Gym is always over crowded, you can’t find free weights or dumbbells. Even the machines you want to use aren’t free.

You still have an issue with people hogging machinery with their clothing whilst they disappear somewhere else in the gym on other machinery

You need more cable cross over machines. And you need people who work to stop people taking pictures and sitting down on machines

Really fun gym, great equipment and the overall environment is nice

I trained with my brother, it was very spacious and loads of machines available. Nice clean gym so makes it comfortable to train in

Positive experience, it was my first time ever in a gym. The staff were friendly and they took time to explain things to me.

Plenty of space and equipment to use. A lady's section available for the shy gym girls equipped with essential machines. Overall nice experience

Love that the gym is all on one level and that there’s a separate women’s section.
