I find the gym great
I find the gym great, I have recently joined and so far it helps my mental health, there is no judgement at the gym and plenty of things to do.

Maryhill gym is spot on
Maryhill gym is spot on. Massive amounts of equipment. Very very impressed. Nice atmosphere but haven’t been in at peek time yet.
Big reason I joined is for the sauna but it cuts out mid session and smells like there is a dead animal in it.

No ACCESS to the GYM because of APP set up ?
No ACCESS to the GYM as understanding APP and Guided Tour not forthcoming......2nd week has passed by and 1 work out !
Didn't have this problem with ANYTIME FITNESS - working out straight away and easy access with front door key ?

Equipment poorly maintained failing…
Equipment poorly maintained failing apart, handles for cable machines broken and is only two for the full gym and fixed with knots, cords almost breaking, hooks of different sizes and shapes which interfere with exercises as one is longer than other creating loss of equilibrium.
Hours of operation in the weekend could be as the rest of the week.
Apart from that the gym is usable.

Mixed experience
The gym has a good variety of kit, including some more 'niche' items like sleds and wallballs. There's a great selection of kettle bells and dumbbells too. The changing rooms are also nice. However, there's a real lack of weight plates, particularly smaller weights like 1.25kg and 2.5kg, I think there's only one set of each in the whole gym! The whole place also needs a bit of a clean, despite lots of signs asking that people wipe down their kit there is nothing available to do that with.

My first time at the gym
My first time at the gym, I was welcomed warmly and showed basically everything I'd need and how to use the equipments, the service was great. For that I'm pleased.
The gym is amazing and very friendly staff.
